      A much needed rest.

As good as a week off.

More brilliant player management by Robbo.

        How good is Carrigan.

Could easily put his hand up for best on ground tonight and was in the losing team.

        2nd most running metres (207)
        2nd most hit ups (20)
        1st in tackles (43)

Young Lussick was second most in tackles with 36.
        great effort from the youngster

        • True, I am glad SST got some much needed rest tonight. More to come over the coming weeks hopefully.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

He hasn't stopped trying all year which can't be said for many of the Broncos.

A solid young player but those are just stats. When you play 80min at lock and carry the ball 20 times you'll finish with those numbers.

He needs to work on his footwork, passing and offloading ability.

              • What about the pace of Butcher I remember last year he scored a similar try against the knights I think , once his in open space he can really motor.

                • Teddy with 5 try assists....

Definitely has evolved his game incredibly.

I think he's starting to realize he's in a team of absolute top shelf players and he doesn't need to do everything on his own like he did at the Tiggers.

Always had the phenomenal pinball Minichello style running game.

His ball playing ability in link plays and as 1st receiver has evolved (dare to say) beyond that of Billy Slater.

Carrigan is mature beyond his years I feel sorry for the kid and he has been left to his own devices up at that rotten to the core of a club he’s exactly what the broncos need right now, but do not deserve, absolutely shattered captaining a team with drop kicks like Boyd and Milford in it I feel for the kid, he’s taking on a huge responsibility when he should be developing and having someone to look up to, but this will only steel him in years to come, he and young Dearden, Staggs and Haas can form the core a team can be built around I hate the Broncos as much as the next Chooks supporter but you have to wonder how he is doing mentally, coping with this situation I for one hope he has a good support network around him that encourage him, support and make sure he is ok he deserves that much he busted his guts out tonight for that club.

                      +1
there's so many talented kids in that team with no leadership on or off the field.

And unfortunately for them, they're trying to carry the flag of a very arrogant and proud football club and supporter base.

They're cancerous from the top office right down to the training staff.

besides a handful of leeches, it ain't the playing rosters fault and if they can just get through the tough times, they have a great roster for the future.

But anyway, their pain is our gain.
                      Roosters - 117
                      Broncos - 12

                        • JMoz absolutely roasted Gallen in post match interview..

they were talking to the twins and Erin the thing... said "Gallen wants to ask if sonny will fight him".

the boys had a chuckle about it, then Gallen pipes up about Sonny ducking him for years.

To which JMoz quickly replies "you need some cash flow do ya Gal".

                          Hahah roasted...

                          • The Broncos need a roster cleanout - some players on big money are not contributing and haven't for a while- the half looks okay so they need a 5/8, 9 and 1 and a couple of hard heads in the pack. the coach needs to be someone able to not only develop players but make the tough decisions on player retention and recruitment. they can't go through another year like this one - ditto cows coach - Titans look the only QLD side heading in the right direction

                            • Thought it was Butcher's best game of the season, Teddy outstanding. His game just keeps evolving, which is a credit to him and also the coaches

                              • I thought tonight's game against Broncos was a vindication of 3 players that have been heavily criticized on this forum in the past.
Big Lindsay was bagged incessantly last year - tonight he was clapped by the crowd at the SCG every time he ran the ball. He is in our starting 17 for the finals, for sure.
In past games , Sitili has had defensive lapses and has dropped the ball. He knows it and responds with tonight's performance. Robbo described him in the presser as "Dynamic". Some people on the forum say he is a work in progress and I agree. FFS he is fairly young and fairly new to first grade, and as the errors get ironed out of his game, he has the potential to become one of the Rooster's future stars.
Butcher was described as pedestrian and ordinary, and he comes up with tonight's game, and now everyone thinks he is brilliant.
IMO we are lucky to have such talents back up the senior guys in our squad. The coach recognizes it. These 3 might not be world beaters at the moment, much to the dismay of plenty of the chookpen members - but hey , give them time - they could be !!!!
