The sad part about this is hamstrings are really life long injuries. Do one and you’ll keep doing them regularly unless you really put in the work to keep them in top condition.

latrell has always just got by on his gifts without ever needing to put in. He can’t coast like that anymore. Who knows, maybe a serious injury like this is the genuine kick up the ass he needs to actually start trying finally

And yes the stripping rule is bad and we are shit at it. We wouldn't strip open a pack of chips. Obviously I hate the 3 into one ball carrier tackle BS but when I see a one on one attempt to strip the ball and they're struggling like it's a tug of war and it goes on and on...it looks shit!!! Whilst I agree the ball carrier should be responsible to hold the ball tight, it shouldn't have to be that he has to hold the ball with 2 arms so no one strips it like Douhie did a few weeks ago when they played the dogs. It looked really dumb...With that said, we will be meeting the best strippers next week so I really hope that we can deal with that.

Agreed. IMO the nuance is...
- On a personal level I don't want a bloke with small kids who has won 2 premierships with us to be going through a serious injury. It's totally undeserved and I hope the recovery goes well.
- The vermin are a bunch of so and so's... it feels like karma given all the pre-season dramas they caused TBH. Hope they go shyte and we pull their pants down in round 20!

In that situation, why isn’t it classed as tackle restart as the defender has touched the ball? There are plenty of other times where a player accidentally touches the ball and the tackle count restarts, why not when somebody is deliberately playing at the ball?

I gotta say for me my disappointment for the guy outweighs my Souffs disdain. He's a wonderful athlete and this will not be good for his mental health. Remember without him Teddy doesn't score the winning try in the GF and maybe no back to back.

Disagree, Morris would throw that pass a thousand time's and so would Manu.Without the Roosters and Robbo,Lamar would probably be back in bush footy.
