Aubusson comes in for Lussick, Crichton in for Tupouniua who fights it out with Butcher for the final bench spot.

jake will either be fully recovered from his knock or he won't play so i'd go aubo in for lussick. i'd also like to get crichton into the 17 and i'm glad i don't have to decide who misses out.

If Robbo is in a position throughout the finals where he is afforded the luxury of making those tough decisions because of a healthy roster, then we'll win the comp. So fingers crossed.

hard to decide imo between Butch/Liu/SBW/Sitili as to which one misses out if we are all fully fit. If sonny is 80% of the old SBW he stays in then one of the other three has to make way.

the way this season has gone I will be extremely but pleasantly surprised if we have to make this decision anyway - there will be more injuries and thankfully we have good depth to cover in most positions in the 17.

i like the idea of running a utility on the bench whether it be lam or freddy

On NRL tonight they are reporting that if everything is ok injury wise on the night SBW will play 20-30 minutes at lock.

and, as happened last week, it provides good cover for the halves and dummy half.
but with only 8 interchanges you can't really waste 2 replacing a guy who can play the full 80, particularly when we've got so many other first grade quality guys who would miss out.

Hopefully we wont need to worry about that and friend can remain healthy for the remainder of the season. But it leads me to this question - if we are running a bench similar to this

it's a risk. if a half goes down you use aubo in the same way that he was going to be used in the 19 gf if cronk didn't play. if jake goes down you put flanno into dummy half and aubo defends in the halves.

but basically we're hoping no one in the spine goes down.

but it's a risk which has a reward if no one in the spine goes down - aubo is a good player in his own right and gives us flexibility if other people go down and having a bench of sbw, lindsay and sitili/butcher is pretty good.

They know as much as us. It’s pretty obvious this would be the case but they make it out as if it’s the inside word. They should tell us something we don’t know.
