Hi aint far off the money. Unless Mini improves somewhat during the offseason we are really going to struggle to benefit from any broken play. I love the bloke but he seems to be deadset past it. It is blatantly obvious most of our points are going to come from field position based on our exciting forward pack. Very very very few length of the field tries this year me thinks
If we lose the battle of the meters in any games this year we are going to get belted if you ask me

He's right about defenders not being scared when Mini returns the ball.. When he takes a kick return you don't expect a linebreak but when it's a player such as Slater, Barba, Locke, Gardner etc. you do expect one or know there's a good chance of one happening. Defenders don't take Mini's kick returns seriously, it's just a free tackle. We also need a five-eighth who drifts across field alot like Carney, Prince or Cronk or one with an inventive kicking game like Thurston, Shaun Johnson and even Littlejohn in our u20's, Jack Litlejohn's little chip kicks or grubbers to the wingers worked on many occasions. 2013 will be the year.
1. Wells/RTC (both need to improve in size without losing speed/footwork).
6. Maloney

Im not saying I disagree with him but anything can happen in footy, as we have all seen with the Roosters over the last 3 seasons

Predicted us to win the comp providing everything that ended up going wrong didn't go wrong..Last edited by Geohood; 01-27-2012, 11:23 PM.

As I thought he predictated we would go 1 better in 2011 to what we went in 2010. I guarantee he would not have rated the Roosters in 2010, who did?
So really he only looks at what is in front of him. I think the Roosters are in better shape than the Broncos. We lost Freddy & just could not perform, how they will go without Lockyer remains to be seen.

Look, I don't know who this guy is, but he strikes me as very thoughtful. Yes he stutters a bit but that does not bother me one bit. In fact, from the look of his facial asymmetry, he has either had a stroke at some point or a Bell's Palsy (facial nerve paralysis). If he had a regular show on foxtel I would watch it.
And I don't blame him for having predicted Easts to win in 2011. After all they were the better team in the 2010 GF, we all know what a stitch up that was (including the steelers fans, you can tell by how sensitive they are and how they blow up when you mention it.
I still think Carney would be at Easts had the bitter and twisted discard sh.itter Myles not manipulated him into being photographed in open defiance and disrespect of the club.
I actually wish Carney well. He gave us some great value, inspiration and set up a try for BJ Leilua in the corner in the 2010 GF that should have set up a match winning lead, had it not shamefully and corruptly been disallowed.
As for Myles, who robbed us of 450K or so all last year (didn't try at all), if he breaks both his legs in the first round I won't shed a tear.
