freddy went alright last week. big ask to play the full 80 but if robbo thinks he can, he can. if he gets injured or is spent come the 2nd half maybe flanno goes into dummy half and kez runs the show with teddy also getting his hands on the ball more.

True, we had top4 wrapped up at that point.

But let's be honest, we all love stories, we all love breaking records.

Who's to say we can't be the first team in 'X' amount of years to win 3 in a row.

And who's to say we can't be the first team in 'X' amount of years to win from outside top4.

Imagine the hatred if/when we do.

Great work on the match day threads 13, always fires me up for the game.
Massive game for us today and we need this one badly. It's been a worrying trend that we haven't beaten any of the other premiership contenders this year.
Papalli rode roughshod over our pack earlier in the year and Wighton is world class with his running game on the left edge.
Hopefully Keary is fit to go as I think we can have some real success on our left edge and jmoz to give Timoko a bath in his 300th.
Make no bones about it no one wants us in the too 4 besides us roosters fans. We are the team all the others fear and they will all be hoping for a Raiders win today and it won't be easy down there with Sutton in charge.
I think we'll stand up today and get the choccies.
          Easts to win.

No one would be happier than me if we won 3 in a row but there will be huge doubts if we can't win such an important game. In 2018 and 19 we win this game easily. I want to see us play tonight like we did earlier in the year when we were unstoppable.

I'd happily see us play how we have the past 2 weeks, albeit different level of oppositions today than we had faced the past 2 weeks.

But apart from a couple of defensive lapses

We've scored 96 points and only conceded 28.
14 points per game in our previous 2 outings as opposed to our best defensive season in 2013 when we finished the season with a defensive record of 325 points conceded across 25 weeks at an average of 13 points per game.

So all the signs are there that we are well on track, which is impressive considering the disruptions we have faced this year compared to previous years past and also noting the 28 points conceded the previous 2 weeks were just poor defensive lapses.. we stop those... no one stops us!

50/50 game. Too hard to tip.
                    Go the MIGHTY ROOSTERS.

Freddy 'I look and play like DCE' Lussick will carve up.

Hope Jake's doing well. Can't say I'd like to cop one in the chin from JWH either.

Papa and wighton are my biggest worries. We keep them quiet the faiders will crumble.. It is time now we lift our game and make a run home. Up the mighty chooks!

                          I worry about CNK...

Last time we played the Faiders, he had a very quiet game by his standard (and what he's capable of)

Think he only ran for like 80 metres.

Also Dunamis Lui is another we need to get pressure on, him and Papali dominated our starters (Collins/ JWH) last time round.

And J.Tapine also ran for 160 odd metres, 2nd highest from the Faiders team behind Papali.

Their outside backs don't worry me at all against ours.

Let's go there tonight and make a statement about our position and intentions for this season.

We are the Roosters - the greatest team in all the land. Let's go and smack those snots!

Up the mighty tri-colours. Our players will do us proud in that hostile environment.

Hopefully SBW has a good and solid re-introduction to the NRL. It should be entertaining.

It is going to be a tough, close affair. Despite this, I am tipping Easts by 4. Let's go Chookies!
                            MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

                              *OFF TOPIC*

Bulldogs looking like they're about to put 1 over the Titans and that'll effectively put the Broncs in pole position for the spoon.

What better way to spend a Saturday than knowing the Broncs are last, Sonny returns, and we beat the Faiders.

I have watched last week's game three times over the past week. Lussick threw more forward passes from dummy-half than what Friend normally does. My concern is that the Canberra crowd will coax the referee to pick it up this week. I'm not bagging the kid, just wishing that this fundamental error was removed from our game.
