Was at the game last night and absolutely loved how the Canberra fans still cannot get over last years loss in the GF. The constant booing and abuse at our guys, the officials and any decision against them made me feel sooo proud!

I love being hated by them!

Before last year's grand final, I didn't think that the Raiders supporters were all that bad. Unfortunately that looks to have changed somewhat now. Obviously being gracious and accepting of defeat to a superior team is not something they can consider or comprehend. Sad.

For the most part to opposition fans, they are ok but they truely believe they were robbed last year and that the NRL or the game day officials owe them something every time they take the field.

I did almost get stabbed to death by their evil stares when I was the only person in Roosters gear prancing around in their corporate members section!

it wasn’t in the box when they were trying to stab me with their eyes. It was in the corporate members bar section. The box is different to the members section and they weren’t allowed in!

More jealous you were actually there , we were supposed to go as it was my birthday but the ahole faiders fixed that with there closed stadium policy , had bood accommodation, taken the day of work and zip

I thought the Penrith fans were a bit rich in round one, who goes to the footy to constantly boo? At times during the match I get, but the full 80?

The victim mentality is rife in the capital.

I wouldn't say proportionately they have worse fans than other clubs.

However, there is a large trashy bogan component to their fan base, fueled by the fact they perpetually feel hard done by the NRL due to less FTA games, percieved little brother status compared to other teams, players from the region rarely staying in Canberra and instead getting 'poached' by other clubs etc.

Think Souths perpetual 'poor me' attitude, but county bogans instead of city bogans.

A shame, because of aside from Rapana who is a colossal dickhead of the highest order, i don't mind the actual team so much.
