Can you please tell us what you do for a crust , were to you live , nice 5 bedder 2 cars ect or is it a slum in vermin territory .Have you done well for yourself no matter what party is in or have you not succeed what you thought you would .. Point is at 58 and having a crack all my life we did pretty well Also have a 26 year old daughter just traded up to her second home .She owns 2 cars , ones a Camper van .she looks after the disabled and earns a good quid , bloody proud of er we are .
Wow! Hard to beat. Like you '08 I'm well into the great Aussie race of who dies with the most toys wins. Already very comfortable, this Covid caper has presented opportunities that are gonna soon put me in the Sonny Bill wealth stratum. During the iso I've met a mega rich widow woman on the Net and we're about to get engaged. She's got mansions in France, a Lamborghini and a huge set of brace'n'bits. I've seen photos (of the house and car at least). The problem is that the pandemic has affected her cash flow so I sent her 100k to get that going again.
The other amazing stroke of luck was a Nigerian bloke getting in touch about a Covid vaccine which works a treat and is going to make zillions but they need investors to ensure copyrights. I, 1908, am in on the ground floor on that one. I sent my banking details and they've had to take the balance but as the bloke said, "Fortune favours the brave" and Who dares wins" - the more you put in the bigger the profit. Eat your heart out buddy. Easy Street comin' up.

In today's edition of the SMH the Red Bandana Pirate Wanka has branched out. Not happy to spend all his time talking about one sport (NRL) which he knows fark all about he has now decided he is a golf expert. He skillfully analyses the swing of newly crowned US Open champion Bryson DeChambeau. What a joke this guy is. He is simply a terrible writer who caters for a small band of idiots whom he must amuse.

The author acknowledges he knows little about golf and defers to an expert in his story. It’s an opinion piece, so that’s what we get, his opinion. I, from time to time, belong to that small band of idiots you refer to
..it’ll be interesting to see

DeChambeau was a college star and has been known as "The Professor" for some time. His downside is he is an extremely slow player and can be rather petulant. He received harsh criticism recently after he became upset that a cameraman was filming him for longer than he liked after playing a poor shot. DeChambeau was upset that his "brand may be damaged". His slow play is by far his biggest issue and it has been suggested many of his peers on the PGA Tour do not want to be paired with him for that very reason. His upside is his unique approach to the game which appears to be working. He has pioneered the idea of all his clubs being the same length and became known for applying physics to his game.
In 2020 Bryson DeChambeau has broken the mould of what golfers find possible, particulalry his manner in winning the US Open. The US Open is typically played in brutal conditions with very long rough, hard greens and strong winds. This requires patience and a somewhat conservative approach. Former World No 1, Rory Mcilroy of Northern Ireland could not get his head around the manner of Dechambeu's victory saying he just could not undertand how a man hits 4 fairways in the final round of a US Open and wins by 6 strokes. Bryson changed the nature of the game and overpowered the course hitting only 4 fairways in his final round. The US Masters has very little rough and tricky yet soft greens. DeChambeau will indeed be hard to beat but majors require skill, game and a lot of good fortune to win.
There you go, that took 5 minutes and is better than Red Bandana Pirate Wanka's efforts.Last edited by Larry Long Balls; 09-24-2020, 04:45 PM.

I see most of his opinion pieces as sports articles for the front pages. Directed at people who have an interest in what’s happening in the world, who will read the front to back of papers, not just the sports section. Every masthead has them, it’s just that readers don’t tend to care what Paul Kent thinks on the Australian Republican Movement.
He has a fair cv..
note. interestingly, the Fordham Co or the Professor Deborah Terry, twice misspelt John Curtin...it’ll be interesting to see
