Never fails to remind us all that rugby union is played in more countries than rugby league, though the only reason is it's a hangover from colonialism so it's all they know. Besides, I haven't seen the Wallabies lining up against the likes of Thailand, Kenya, Botswana or the Cook Islands recently. (And who cares! It's been unwatchable since 1994 when they brought in the 'use-it-or-lose-it' rule...which although sounds positive...isn't in a big way!)

From what I have read there seems to be a lot of professionals and generally smart people here on the Chookpen. I think many here are quite well educated.

He is a north shore Rugby Union boy through and through. His folks had a huge farm up Mangrove Mountain, went to Knox Grammar.

He sees himself as above the 'working class' game. And he has never got over the fact that Rugby League has a much bigger following then Union here in Australia.

It sends him into a rage whenever something positive Rugby League - wise gets air time. And he furiously jerks off whenever something negative Rugby League - wise get's air time.
