Red Cuban Bandana is stuck for things to write about since Alan Jones and Tony Abbot have left the scene as they say- the only thing he can write about now is the NRL and the republic he craves for and anti British views and oh and the NSW National leader who he seems to be stalking on line wanting him to fess up if he is seeking a job at the NRL when he leaves Parliament. A waste of space basically and a hypocrite - bangs on about climate change and then in the same article mentions that he's in Paris/New York/London/Washington/Berlin etc big noting himself - mmm does he look up the carbon emissions from his flights though or he thinks his bandana soaks it all up.

I would also suggest that the Bandana Wanka is also very familiar with the concept of a ghostwriter for his "books".

That's what I like about the Bandanna, he's unafraid of consequences unlike the News hacks whose very livelihood depends on forming various cheer squads.
I don't know how many marriages Johns has been through but that record alone signals big time instability and his opinions, other than about about Banana Kicks, pretty much worthless.
I like your contribution here Paddo but having a go at someone because they left school at year 10 is so condescending. As you can guess I am one of those uneducated people who left school in year 10 and have probably never read a book.
How about you stick to footy and contribute to constructive non political banter.
I am not a fan of Fitzsimons but as I sit here in my study and look over at my bookshelves ironically I count seven of his books. I just cannot stand watching him on TV as my views do not align with him or your's by the sound of it. I do like Australian history and he spins a pretty good yarn, hence his books on my shelf.
Either way a forum is not interesting if we all had the same opinion.
        Go the Chooks.

True he is a Shore alumnus which is a rich wanker family mill stone normally but he has seen the light and many of us enjoy his excoriation of the bumble footed Libs and the billions of wasted money (your money).
Of course the hacks at the Tele work him over because he's not one of the Libs' cheer squad and occasionally dumps on that old cancer tumour, Rupert. Truth is he has written a swag of very popular Australiana books which would drive the Tele hacks to despair since, between the lot of them, not one has read a book. Aw...except for the one that was read to them in Year 10.
That red bandana goes against the grain of not judging a book by its cover, and i went to year 10, but year 6 where the best 4 years of my life.

His books are inaccurate and has more of his view of events and historical facts than what actually happened. Another of those lefty pc's trying to change history or shame us in to changing it. Without the British who he dislikes with a passion what would Australia be like - be French one would say and would have been Nazi Controlled during WW2 or Japanese since the French were defeated by the Germans in 6 weeks- Even the Russians were eyeing of Australia - mmm would have be part of the Soviet Union until it's collapse if that occurred.

Red Cuban Bandana likes to give it to people but doesn't like it when people give it to him though and despite the papers he writes for receiving countless letters criticising his articles for inaccuracies/bias etc those papers rarely if ever publishing any of them in the editors letters- It gives the false impression that most people agree with him - they dont

I hate pfs for being a left wing loony , no people protesting blm and anti maskers at 10 am Tuesday are not enlightened. they are unemployed.

but the reason I really hate him...he hates rugby league, union in Australia is dying, he knows it , we know it. so he takes any o]ortunity to take a shot at nrl he can . any club, player, administrator , just fark off pfs.

Apart from the News Ltd use of the terms to fire up the mugs, "Lefty" and "Left Wing" are troublesome terms and are often misplaced. Anti maskers for example are, overwhelmingly, Right Wingnuts of the Libertarian persuasion as are Anti-vaxers. The truth is that the Right is the real looney-ville in Australia. Every single reform that ordinary people have enjoyed stretching back over a century has been a gift from the Left courtesy of the Union movement - everything from pensions, female suffrage, the Trade Practices Act (consumer protection), Medicare, Super, the NDIS etc...etc. All of them fought tooth and nail by the Right (the cabal of the Anglophile rich who have, with the help of their Corporate mates in the media, held real power since the Rum Rebellion) but apparently all of those progressive reforms are enjoyed well enough by mattyh and King Salvo whose contributions are mostly thoughtful (The King, I'm referring to) but have become somewhat wilder since Fitzy's name has come up. Of course KIng, the media company doesn't publish criticism of Bandana Man, that's his job - to attract controversy. The more letters of complaint, the better.
Just this morning he's dumped on "Barra" that National Party fool of a lout who wants open season on Koalas in the interests of land clearing - best mate of Barnaby Beetroot. They're the real class enemies, they've given you nothing, unless you're rich, but Anzackery, ripped off wages, ripped of Workers compensation. Get woke mattyh and stop talking in Murdoch cliches, there's much more to life, hopefully, than being a footy fan.

And the "Year 10/never read a book" references are not directed at the Fraternity of the Steeden on this site but at the Tele/2GB/Fox "journalists" who, clearly in possession of the most basic of educations, feel no reluctance about giving us all the benefit of their egregious ignorance any chance that they get.
The Working Class tories among us who insist that this is a footy site might like to note that this thread has nothing to do with anything other than bagging a progressive journalist/thinker. Ol' Thucydides back in the day, observed that few people have any interest in finding out truth. Moreover, he felt that most are inclined to believe the first opinion that they hear. Unforch, in Australia, that is usually a Murdoch opinion.

Both left wingers and right wingers can p!ss me off because they are all agenda driven wankaz who will just stick up for whatever political party their grandpa told them has the better 'values'.

I tend to lean towards to left because the right is where christians, racists, homophobes, gun activists and corporate stooges invariably sit. They're all heavily agenda driven, work in mobs and can be super nasty pieces of shyte (particularly when somebody doesn't fit in with their agenda).

The above said... I don't wanna have a socialist style tax system, 'liberalised' drug policies or armchair lefties rolling their eyes whenever they find our I'm not gay + my wife uses my name (as if that makes me some evil oppressor).

IMO we need balance, based on circumstances rather than agendas.
