And how did you arrive at any of those conclusions King Bill? Just your "opinion", off the top of your head? Are you an authority on China's Belt and Road initiative - a program that would improve world trade and provide economic viability to many third world countries including the islands of the Pacific. The USA has relinquished World leadership and is not looked to to provide it. Look at the Covid disaster over there and the way that it has been handled. Unfortunately, working class audiences are prone to persuasion by the loudest (often most ignorant) bullying voice. Think Ray Hardley - he's got a loud voice, used to be an auctioneer then a cabbie, then a dog race caller - all eminent qualifications for political commentary.

{quoting you} I'm sure that I've read just about all of the stuff you mention in the Tele served up by Year 10 leavers who probably believe it themselves.

I monitor it, good for a laff like all ratbag publications. It's on a par with the Beetoota Advocate.
1908, with respect, you can google/Wikipedia to learn more about The Belt And Road. It's an export enterprise for the Chinese. They are so brilliant at construction and at building major infrastructure that they export that expertise. The customer pays for that and then they own it, no more Chinese. In the case of Third World countries they loan them the dough (called foreign aid). Unlike the American foreign aid there are no strings. The Americans have always required reforms like privatisation of public utilities, cuts in welfare etc.
I was brought up in the working class and consider myself still that. If one has no control over his/her employment, working hours and conditions one is working class even though the old industrial working class has gone. I know the working class, old and new, and I know that it is susceptible because its members often don't like to think about politics. Otherwise. it is the creative class. Think the black working class in the US which, despite grievous oppression, dominates (and invented) popular culture world wide and has done for a century.
There's an excellent description of what the class might become under someone like Dutton in the novel 1984.

The ”belt and road” initiative is not from the goodness of their heart. It’s purely a method to gain control of the infrastructure of other states.

Is this thread going to overtake the Henson Park thread on the old Wall for number of posts? It's headed that way.
Paddo, I think you could be an interesting chap if you just pulled your head in a bit and realised that truly intelligent people have the insight to know they don't have all the answers.
Or maybe you just like telling people who don't agree with you they're all uneducated morons. Like the ALP called the electorate after it rejected them at the last election.

Unfortunately they both have in the past and continue to do so
