hope his cousin is alright. I don't mind cords having another week or 2 off either after his head knocks.

doesn't sound good. boyd's not visiting him to be a doctor so you'd figure he's worried he might never see him again. hope he pulls through.

presumably this means boyd misses the next 2 games.

Not good news, so it will be Gus & Sitilli in the back row.

            Bench

            Aubbo
            Collins
            Butcher
            SBW
            Lussuck

            Who misses out.

i'd leave freddy out. if we can play him for 80 without a replacement on the bench we can do the same with jake. if jake goes down flanno goes into dummy half.

you'd figure we should win without boyd so it gives the other guys a chance to shine.

Just wondering why yourself & others on here have mentioned Flanno to dummy half?
As far as I know he has never played dummy half at Cronulla or the Roosters in his 20 something FG appearances.
If Friend came off or needed a spell I think Aubbo or Butcher would go to dummy half & leave Kyle
                  at half steering the ship.

butch is like mcguire who goes into dummy half. could work. aubo's done it in the past. robbo would have some plan, maybe it's not flanno.
but my main point is that i don't think we can waste a bench spot on a back up dummy half

that's good news plus he goes good at dummy half so we're sweet.

                        Tragic.

Fingers crossed, good people, great family.

Yes, indeed, my thoughts and prayers are with his family at this time. Situations like this can really put things into perspective.
                          MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Everyone else who leaves the bubble seems to have to stay away for two weeks. Why would Boyd be any different?

He should be pretty fresh come semi time after only having played about 8 games this season.

Boyd was granted an exemption by the NRL to leave the bubble due to exceptional circumstances. He can return and play without isolating.
