The Rooster had some terrific moments when we laid on some great tries but we dished up far too much shit for me to be happy.
I really had concerns that a name change from the Roosters to the Crabs was in order with so much bullshit running sideways,
Maybe Robbo told them to go out and throw structure to the wind but among some good defence were moments of poor defensive positioning and structure especially around kicks
Anyway a win is a win and I imagine we will be alot better next week
Sure we lost some direction in that second half and felt like they started to play some globetrotters style footy but geez they're an impressive team.
Some of the stuff I saw tonight I'll be reminiscing about in hopefully a long time from now when we go through some lean years again.
The ball movement tonight was ridiculous. I thought our defence was excellent too, those two tries off kicks were nothing but luck. Apart from that the defensive line was rock solid and our hunger in scramble was super impressive.

That was an unbelievable effort to stop that try by Morris & Manu. Flanno put his body on the line as well defending our line.

These can be easily rectified
I'm very concerned for our skipper, his physical and emotional well being looks running on empty
I Dont mind being without him for the coming weeks.
I thought that was poor form, he was clearly struggling to keep it together...

I know it wasn’t the Morris boys - don’t get me wrong I love them - they have been top shelf but tonight they were rocks and diamonds and they are never that but there were too many mistakes from them tonight amongst some great stuff as well.
i thought Keary and SST - he just keeps going and going and going.

Hard to pick our best
Angus was good last week, but great last night! Right from the word go he was impressive both in attack and d
SST was as usual was solid as a rock (he has a similar body shape to the Rock too)
Flanno coming along really nicely
Toops icing some big plays
Cords started really strongly. Thought he was going to have a big one until the head knock - poor bugger
Keary and Teddy worth every penny with their upgrades/extensions - in fact the club is getting a bargain
And don't get me started on SBW. If the 13mins last week was a 1/10 then his two stints last night were a 9/10.
Great win. Ice a few of those last passes and if the bunker made the right call we win by 60

I thought Angus then Teddy and Toops.
Can't wait to see SBW with a couple more games under his belt. Very impressed on how much he improved after one game.
