This is a big season for him.

He was disappointing in 2011 without the service from Todd Carney.

If he has a big season I believe we can have a decent year.

Another poor season could leave question marks over his value to the club.

Less dumb penalties and silly errors and more tries and line breaks please.

    Easts to win.

As been said in previous threads on SKD, he can be rocks or diamonds. But he is worth persisting with.

SKD is an absolute star and is one of the best and most consistent centers in the NRL.

The Carney 'service' is such a myth. Nearly all his linebreaks & tries were set by the Pearce/Aubo combo on that right side.

There's no reason why he can't get back to his best.

THANK YOU! Everyone keeps saying he's useless without Carney. It's so untrue.

Yes he was disappointing but he wasn't alone in that respect. Other than Jake Friend and some of the up and comers, most of our squad would have fitted comfortably into that category.

Another perfect example is Michael Jennings. He underperformed in 2011 the same as SKD even though there were no changes the the Panthers halves.

Indeed...but he needs to stop losing posssession of the ball in tackles, especially at the end of runs where the opposition knocks the one arm carrying the ball and the ball comes loose.

32 injuries in 2011 was a good reason for the lack of consistancy

skids had a groin injury (now sorted)

                          bring it on 2012

totally agree, groin injury plagued him last season but has now fully recovered.

Agree he can only get better. He was trying to ignite a losing team as a centre last year, made a lot of mistakes and got injured. He will do better in 2012.
