  • Unusual merch

I came across the below site by accident, and thought some of their gear looked interesting and quite unique (some quite hideous, too). Anyway, I just thought I'd post the link for anyone interested in something a bit different. Many of the designs have a full range of things in them, i.e. t-shirts, polos, hoodies etc. You can click on each item to see what's available.

And in case you were wondering, I have no affiliation with this site. I'm just a supporter who was looking for some different gear, found this site by chance and decided to share.

Any site that’s operating from O/S and using $US makes me think twice before purchasing anything from them

Some of that merch looks alright...

Some makes absolutely no sense haha

Either way I wouldn't take the gamble, but if anyone does. Let me know how it works out for you.

i'm assuming that this merch isn't nrl sanctioned. i wouldn't risk it but some of the stuff looks alright. maybe our people could steal back some of their ideas.

I can picture someone rocking down Paddington with the Roosters leather jacket.

Not really for me. I want to get a retro jersey with City Ford written on it.

Show me a pic of this jumper being worn in a first grade NRL or ARL game. I don't remember ever seeing it.

Your probably to young mate. I remembered it from when I was young. I think the Chooks were the first team to have 2 different strips.

                        1. Eastern Suburbs ‘Summer’ strip (1982)

Introduced to combat the effects of the late summer heat in 1982, this stylish white jumper only appeared in the Roosters’ opening three games of the premiership season against Newtown, Illawarra and Cronulla. This makes it as rare as hen’s teeth (sorry, couldn’t resist). With its plain design and vibrant red shorts, this shirt is one of the game’s forgotten gems and I’d love to see the Roosters use it as a heritage jersey sometime in the near future.

Thanks Mickie. Only used for 3 games.... no wonder i missed it. I've followed the Roosters since the early 1960's. Grew up in Paddo, But moved to Brisbane to live in 1980.
