I see no benefit to it outside of the regular daily training drills the boys take part in.

I think there's benefit while we are still bedding down our combo's in the middle with Sonny's inclusion. I assume it's simply a management strategy for injury/recovery.

Wouldn't surprise if SBW is still on a heavier training regime to build fitness and was given a rest day.

you'd need them to get together the day before the game wouldn't you. make sure everyone's head's in the right place. call it what you want.

To me, this is inconsequential. He is 35, and has to and will be managed accordingly. Not a big deal. I think sometimes we can over analyse and unnecessarily complicate things.

Im sure theres a story behind Toops form from 2018 onwards. His whole demeanour has changed- and his game followed. Its like he has all of a sudden realised he is the games no 1 beast- and no one is going to stop him. Even when he makes the odd mistake he doesnt drop his head and walk back into position like the world has ended- he just has a confident look of "i'm going to make up for that".He is 10 times the player he was when he played for NSW & Australia
