Our right edge defensively is probably our biggest concern so against the Storm & Munster I wouldn't be surprised if Robbo went with Aubo to tighten things up. Especially if he wants to keep Gus for the middle rotation.

Injuries happen, of course and IMO we're in a great position because we have backups in multiple positions.

If we lose the first week of finals then I still reckon we'll be well placed to win the comp as we've got the best backup squad in the comp. Most of our fringe players would be on $$$ playing 1st grade elsewhere. Their form and readiness when called upon at last minute is insane.

Go back to 2013... we didn't have the firepower to smoke a forward-heavy team like the Sharks while resting (for example) Cords, Mini, Moa, Jennings and Friend. It woulda been game over (and they were in the bottom-8). Whole new level!!!

Such a difficult selection, I was watching Sitili in the change room and he looked really down on himself. I am thinking that maybe he knows that he may not be part of the fully fit team.
I just think we will go with Butch as SBW Maubs Lindsay and Sitili leave us one prop short.
Against Storm with there huge pack could be an issue. Otherwise happy with Waylanders team.
Trent knows best, will be interesting to see what he does.

Storm left side with Munster, Paps chiming in with Olam and Addo-Carr will pose us some problems and we need a good defensive backrower to help out flanno and Manu there.
Likewise with the Panthers with kikau and Crichton running off Luia.
Sitili has been quiet the last couple of games and one thing he needs to work on is taking that tough hit up off our line getting out of trouble, his workrate as a starting backrower needs to lift.
I think your team is close to the money if we are fully fit with no suspensions.
I'd be resting JWH this week he was hobbling a bit walking around after the game.

maybe i'm wrong but i doubt that. robbo would have thoughts but they're probably not set in stone. even if he's leaning v sitili no way does he tell sitili at this stage that he's out - things change, people get injured.

butch would be desperately unlucky to miss out but sitili's been too good to leave out. looks dangerous with ball in hand but his d has really come on - tackle efficiency of more than 90% and capable of big hits.

In the past 2 years in the finals we hardly give up a try....

We have so much strike in our squad I think Robbo will look to have our best defensive unit intact......I think he might go with Butch who along with Friend do so much of the dirty work for us......

Sitili would be hard done by to miss out though and I love what he brings.........

I would be starting with Angus in the semis .The pace will be too fast a furious for SBW ..off the bench will be weapon as for Sitilli Bill Williams he can start or also be a weapon.....can you imagine..the workers do their bit for 25 mins and on comes the two Williams bros..and throw in Lindsay Lohan in ...punishment for teams

I think Crighton will definitely start in the semis.

Such a hard decision - the good thing is I don’t think it matters to the strength of the team - any of those in contention I’m sure we are all really confident in.

We had a similar hard call last year with Collins and Tets missing out once Friend was declared right to play.

Let's hope we have to make a similar hard call.

This will be the team. Liu might get named at 13 and Crichton on the bench, but this will be the run on team. Butcher will get the nod over Sitili as Robbo favours defensive qualities over attack when push comes to shove. He has SBW to provide the spark off the bench in any case and Butch will be there to tackle his backside off.

How good was Angus on Saturday night? There is not a chance in the world that the club won't give him a contract extension. He is definitely turning out to be the player the club wanted him to be. Has the running attributes that he displayed at Souths but with a real toughness added in.
