Trent is blessed to have multiple options available. We have enough attacking options, so it comes to defensive players. Aubbo will play. Collins and SBW. Butcher to get the nod ahead of Sitili.

Sitili misses out purely and simply on big stage experience his defence has been great the last couple of weeks no doubt he has been putting the work in and it’s paying dividends, Aubo is an automatic selection here points will be few and far between in Prelims and GF we have more guns then anyone in the comp, which means the competition for spots is all about defence adding bricks to the Great Wall of Bondi Butcher will defend until he’s blue in the face and not miss any, he will run and make meters all the same (this is invaluable) Aubo is a utility/cover player and a monster in defence, I feel sorry for the kid he will miss out based on these factors alone unlucky Sitili.

      8. Jarod
      9. Nug
      10. SST
      11.Cords
      12.Gus
      13.Ice
      14.Aubo
      15.Butcher
      16.Collins
      17.SBW

Sitili’s time will come, unfortunately for him not this time.
Lindsay was the unlucky one to miss out in 18and Tets in 19 he stuck it out showed a good attitude and this time if we get there he doesn’t miss out.

i'd go with sitili but i'm happy if we go with nat.
sitili missed a few tackles when he was defending in the centres but his effective tackle percentage is more than 90%. check his stats on the roosters website. he's a good defender. he can also put a big hit on.

[QUOTE=The Skeez "I also want to see Sonny dummy and run, hopefully scoring under the sticks or maybe near halfway with Tedesco, Keary or Flanagan trailing."

Sonny's offloads are a joy to behold and that tackle on Tracey to save a certain try on Friday night was exceptional. A metre out and flying and didn't quite get there.
Shouldn't be long before the support (Teddy) starts to take advantage of the offloads as they are a feature of his every possession. Looks to me like Sonny is on a mission with this NRL stint, his reviews in Super League were luke warm but every outing here so far has been very promising.
I would think that Sitili would make the cut, he's been a fave so far and he's explosive on the fringe as well but he doesn't, admittedly, have Aubo's smarts. Mitch wasn't the Cronkster's enabler in the '18 GF for nothing.
The games ahead and injuries might make this discussion redundant anyway. The Storm are sure to belt us big time. They're busting everyone else.

Just like Lindsay missed out last year, Sitili misses out this yr.
I think Trent has been starting him recently to give him good game time in case someone gets injured.
He'll be better for the whole experience next year.

There is only one guy who runs the team - his name is Keary.
The other guy has been dropped before.
If the only reason you have a player in your team is for his goalkicking, you have a major problem with your team..
In the last two games that we played the Storm, Hughes ripped us to shreds. Do you think Flanno is a good enough defensive player to make Hughes uncomfortable?
Just saying it is horses for courses.

We can cover most positions in the backline in case of injury but the one we need Aubo for is left centre. Sitili and Angus have been used there and it threw out our left edge whereas Aubo marked up on the dangerous Zac Lomax and did a good job on him. I know SBW could play there but I really think Robbo wants to use him in Victor's role in the middle of the park.
I think it's more than likely that someone will be out injured or suspended during the finals so Robbo mightn't have to make that decision.

Geez the bears will be strong next year with all these debutantes we have used and blooded. Hutch, Lam, Farmer, Freddy, Tuipolotu, Billy Smith, Fafita, and then the nrl left overs from the main squad like Ikavalu, Verrils, other Butcher Baker Moretti and tryless Halldawg.

Jason will be salivating at 2021

IMO this should be the lineup:

Surely Hall won’t be around again next year.
