SBW adds so much danger off the bench. His presence alone will create holes around nervous middle defenders. He's an absolute certainty imo.

I think it's clear that Butcher/Sitili/Aubo are fighting for two spots.

Let's hope Robbo has this conundrum throughout the finals because if he does we probably win another comp.

I still believe Robbo will go with his most experienced. Sitili, Lussick & Farmersilli will miss out. It would of been interesting if Rads & SV were fit.

I reckon this is quite close Mickie.

My only possible variations are as follows:

1. Not sure what will happen with Boyd, but let's assume that he continues.

2. I would swap Butch and Sitili, mainly due to the attack.

If Aubo is impacted in any way, Lussick is the next man in for mine. I like the fact that he can cover for Jake as well.

Is Lachie Lam still going to be injured? Regardless, I cannot see him breaking in anyway.

Sitili will miss out if everyone’s fit. Has done his job but will similar to Tetevano in the GF. Sitili not as strong as others defensively and whilst good in attack, there are others who can do the job as well. Pretty harsh but he has done a lot to get us to where we are.

It breaks my heart but Aubo misses out. Although I think Trent and the crew would be thinking/hoping almost that injury/suspension makes the choice for them

With the luxury of depth and the finals approaching, Robbo has to make some difficult decisions soon.

Jarred, SST, Cords, Angus and Liu are the Most likely starting pack. SBW and Collins are certainties for the bench. Does Robbo go with 4 forwards on the bench or three plus a utility?

I think Robbo will need to decide between Sitili, Butcher, Aubo and Freddy for the remaining bench positions.

Tough to leave out Aubo in his final year and his ability to play in the backs and his experience as a dummy half is huge. Sitili has played all season and had that x-factor. Butch can play middle or edge.

One or two players are going to be very disappointed.

That’s quite harsh. He should be in the 17 IMO. His versatility will be useful if anyone goes down in a game. Should Friend have to come off for any reason, Aubo is the only one who can cover unless Lam will be back or Robbo prefers Lussick as a hooker cover.

You leave out butcher. Least versatile and least impactful player of those named.

bench should be maubs, sitili, Collins, and SBW.

maubs covers hooker and the backline from injuries, and is also an effective edge runner. He’s never let us down in 303 games so leaving him out would be Brian smith levels of stupid.

sitili honestly deserves to start... but so does Angus so bench it is.

SBW is more versatile and has more X factor than butcher.

Actually no one deserves to miss out. It would be hard to leave Butcher out- the guy just doesn't miss a tackle and he makes a lot of tackles. Good luck with this one Robbo!

good point Mickie - but I suppose if rads was fit we wouldn’t have chased Sonny so that would be a straight swap - if Verills was fit would pose a very tricky selection between Aubbo butch Sitili or SV with only 1 to make it - wow that’s some good players missing out on a GF/final if fit - but that’s not the case unfortunately or thankfully I can’t decide

There is a solid argument for each player to be selected . I think Aubbo gets in so lussick will definitely miss out.
apart from that maybe Robbo takes a game by game approach and picks his bench forwards and back row depending on the opposition we play.

My heart says Sitili but my head says Butch. As they say defense wins premierships and I rate Butch a better and more reliable defender.

From an entertainment point of view Sitili for sure. He has x-factor. He can split the line. id hate for him to miss out.

So I reckon it’s Collins, Aubo, Butcher and SBW.
