I've tried and tried but I'm not a Lam fan. I don't see what he brings above Freddy Lussick. Looking back at the Storm game at the scGee where Lam got hurt, prior to that, his defence was woeful and I think it was either Monster or Papps, that just glided past Lam with a style of tackling that would make a dragons player proud, to then score a try. He doesn't kick for goal and his passing is average...but I don't want to denigrate the kid, but for a player that's been in our system for a few years now, he should be a lot better whereas you see Kyle, Sam Verrills and Freddy Mk2 how quick they've learn to deal with the top level.

I would have preferred to have Ikavalu in for Manu and Maubbs to 14. Ika deserves more games this year cause he has busted himself and has done great.

Who do I want to win? Well I don't mind losing if it will give us an easier side of the draw. Last thing I want is to have to go to this game and play a desperate souffs and for the game to be a slugathon marred by injuries. The Storm will be resting a few players so they would be good for the first finals game. Then again losing may give an edge to souffs by overtaking the knights and souffs having their finals game at home. I would hate to give anything to the vermin.

How many times have we said 'we should kick their arse', only to come out with our feathers between our legs? There are different motivations for both teams. Our most important game is the next one whether it's the panfers or storm. Souffs most important game is this one because they can score a home game next week, of course it will be a moot point for souffs if the knaughts beat the Tits in the prior game. I know we have the players to beat the toothless ones, I just hope we beat them with speed & skills rather than smashing through them to avoid any injuries.

I am fearful of a torrid game where we either have injuries to key players (anyone actually), or are busted for the following game.

I want to win, and win well as long as we come out of that game fit & ready for the next game. Otherwise a loss only as a strategy serves the club better because if Parra chooses to win on Satdy, then they go to Brisbane and we go to Penrith..I'm actually sacrificing my enjoyment because I could see the Storm v Roosters here in BNE, so you and your band of merry men can travel to the foot of the Mt Kosciusko to watch the Roosters...how nice am I? Thirteen got it!!! Why couldn't you?
