  • Official Match Day Thread: Roosters v Souths

Friday night footy against the old foe. An opportunity to fine tune our game before the new completion starts next weekend. No better way to enter the finals by smashing the filthy vermin. A opportunity to rock their already low confidence and once against remind them now inferior they are to us.

If you’re attending don’t forget to don the hazmat suit and wipe down the seat before you sit down. It’s unfair really that we are forced to share air with these bunch of inbred ferrels.

Should be a comfortable win without us having to flex our muscles. That can wait till next week.

    Go Roosters!

gotta love easts v souths games. where would we be without em.

losing this game last year didn't hurt us but want to see us play well.

hopefully flanno kicks his way to top point scorer if he hasn't already,

if as expected we play storm next week that semi will be on sat or sun (given that storm play sun) so we'll have more than a week to recover.

We are missing a couple of players but have enough to do the job, Teddy to have a big game once again with SST.

          Reynolds is 13 behind Flanno.

Big game from us tonight I hope , hate the vermin with a passion and loosing to the filth is unacceptable. Expect Cool hand Luke to take control and give old Rusty the thumbs down .
                Go the Roosters by plenty

Yes, hopefully we can stick it to this mob from Redfern. No matter what happens in terms of our finish, and who we meet next week, we need to win this one and win well. It is always so important to the members, fans and everyone associated with our fine club - it is that critical. Despite my hopes, I think it will possibly be a bit closer than expected. I cannot see us losing, but suspect that there will be a rebound factor for them after last week's embarrassment. I think it will be Easts by 12. Please go get them and don't give them an inch.
                  MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

The Shit stain have limped into a finals spot purely and simply because of the weakness of the rest of the comp just like the Sharks these clowns DO NOT belong in finals footy I would love to have our full strength side here but in terms of what’s at stake it’s just a training run for our boys the real opposition are the officials tonight it’s 13 vs 15 I hate the refs more then this mob of rabble, simply because they’re the bigger threat.

                    Easts by 20.

I hope to be wrong but not sure about a comfortable win. They're desperate to show something after last week plus if the knights lose in the earlier game, they have a chance get a home finals game next week...Us on the other hand, who knows what the motivation will be since winning doesn't really improve our position. Of course I would hate to have to go through this weekend knowing we lost to those slobs so yeah! Lets shut em up and crush their spirits so they crash out of the comp next week!

I think that the "Shit Stain" was originally Cronulla and the name followed Scomo's faux defection from Rugger to become No.1 ticket holder out Woolloware way.
Couldn't be Souffs - they've always been called "The Pride". And let's face it, when 'Trell was rejected, lost and alone in a hostile world, it was they who gave him shelter and a place to rest. He would have made tonight's game far more interesting. "Glory, Glory..." Oops, "Here come the Roosters the best we've...."
