  • Heavy training load

Ok, we lost to the Bunnies. That hurts at the best of times.
I cant help but think that Robbo ran us into the ground this week to get one more heavy training week in before finals.
So a) we get run into the ground b) lose and come 4th c) play Panthers week 1 with the benefit of hard training and a kick up the behind from our arch rivals right before finals
Why am i even considering this? Apart from the first 5 minutes, we were flat, we made fatigue errors, we didn't press them - its just not us - we can grind.
Ok, so maybe I'm just optimistic and a Roosters tragic. But didn't Bennett just do the same thing last week so that the Broncos got the spoon (i.e. they played their worst game of the year so that the Dogs won).

i dont think heavy training if this occured could be used as an excuse- they played like they didn't want to get injured and or didn't want to play the storm first week of finals - that could still happen in any case- be cannon fodder if things aren't fixed - teams that move the ball side to side with numbers will really break down the defence on both sides -

It was the exact opposite, they didn't train for 3 days.....had most of the week off according to Robbo in press conference.

Training regimes, either way, should never be used as an excuse under any circumstances. That doesn't wash with me.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.
