  • It’s OK to admit it

We were outplayed. Souffs were just too good, they ran harder and played a brand of footy that reminded me of us. They are a good team and were in the mood tonight, we definitely made it harder for ourselves though. Our average points conceded the last 2 finals series I believe is around 8 points a game which is astonishing but the question is can we repair the severely damaged Bondi Wall?

I think we all know that Souths were better, but it's disappointing how poor we were

At the moment, I am not sure, to be quite honest. I am not convinced that we turned up tonight expecting to play our A game. We can and will improve, of course, but I wonder whether such a large margin may have had a detrimental and irreversible psychological impact, and caused irreparable damage to our chances in the finals.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

        I don't think so.
If we'd lost the game but put in, we'd be OK.
But having 60 put on us. Against our arch enemies. Did you see how Robbo seemed to be in shock at the press conference? (like we all felt)?
It will take something special to come back from that.
Maybe we will be shamed into an angry, aggressive response next weekend with a full strength team. I hope so but have my doubts. 60!!??!!

Souths got beat by the Bulldogs last week. Of course they will run harder. Then Newcastle lost. More incentive.

Our team, we will rebound. Just like Souths did. Look out comp
          ..it’ll be interesting to see

As robbo said in presser... you don't become bad footballers over night

We will bounce back and win the comp!

Isnt a week a long time in Rugby League. At the end of rd 19 Souths couldnt beat bottom of the league Dogs and the Roosters were ticking over nicely after beating the Sharks.

Makes you wonder what next week will bring!!!

An under 12 s teams would have beaten the Roosters last night.. We made Souffs look good

Our goose was cooked the week before where we were forced by Cummins yo tackle tackle and tackle all second half We were flat went for 10 mins and when Souths responded we had nothing in the tank We will find it impossible if we are continually on the end of massive 6 again counts I told my aBrother after Cronulla game if they do what Cummins did to us we will get clogged against Souths and in the finals This new rule gives the refs way too much power and it will only get worse once offside penalties are called 6 again next season Nobody at the ground will know what is going on nor those watching No accountability for errors as the game just rolls on and on The game next year will be brutally fast and over the long term it will be that quick it will shorten players career span as they will burn out
