Flanagan isn't up to first grade standard and its not personal but I hope he doesn't play again for the Roosters.
I hope Sam Walker lives up to the hype but I am still out as he hasn't played against men. Thge clips I have seen of him I like his control but thats about it

kyles lack of movement with and with out the ball puts way too much pressure on teddy and keary. whoever can take some of that pressure away from them is good enough for me.

i hope this walker kid is as good as everyone is making him out to be, cant be much smaller than kyle so worries there about the defence

100% - this is Kyle’s problem he is way too small for a modern day half. Keary gets away with it because of this pace and instinct but Kyle cannot make a 1 on 1 tackle. Needs a massive off season in the gym and work on his pace too. I think he’s passing and kicking game is ok.

Not talking about him for this finals series moreso next year.

hes had a decent first full season but has showed where his weaknesses are which hinders the team, i think if he shows signs of running the ball more or getting bigger and stronger in defence in preseason/next season then give him another chance. if not probably best to blood the guy that everyone froths about

I called flanno out earlier in the year for not taking the line on and his brave but in efficient defence, Robbo dropped him not long after and put him back in after we lost Lam to injury.
He cost us dearly tonight and he showed he isn't up to standard.

He just offers nothing in attack, 0 meters tonight. Did you see how penrith attacked? Both halves running and looking for opportunities. Teams know how to counter our attack now, Kyle will shape to run but then goes out the back, he does it all game.

When you are 78 kgs another 5 10 15 kgs wont sacrifice speed it will enhance it - as long as that weight is muscle.

he can get stronger and heavier and that will fix his confidence in taking on the line and increase his speed and power which will make his running game more effective than what it is now which is non effective. It should also help fix his No 1 deficiency which is his defence - brave yes - effective oh no fkn way - he needs size and power it’s a simple as that.

I hope we pick Lam for the rest of the finals this year as unfortunately Flanno’s defence is not close to the standard we need to threaten this title - nor is his running game - yes his goal kicking is great but he lets in more points tonight than he kicked with the boot.
