Player for Player there are only 3 players from Penrith maybe superior than what we have ... Cleary, Koroisau & Kikau.

Keep up the great work Tobin. You seem to always be right.

One thing you didn't mention about Penrith is that they have had no serious injuries or long term injuries to any players this season. They have pretty much been full strength all year.
If they played the Storm with the brutality they played us both at Suncorp & the SCG, they would have suffered injuries. We need to play Penrith the way we ambushed the Storm in the 2018 GF because I don’t believe Penrith have had to play a team that has been ‘tough’ on them.

We just need a mongrel to go at their halves and bash the crap out of them.
I also think there is an arrogance in Cleary senior that doesn't match his coaching ability. I am not sure they will change much and the key is taking the fun out of it for them

I think 5 Panthers would make a combined team for this weekend:

          Teddy
          Toops
          Jmoz
          Manu
          Bmoz
          Keary
          Cleary
          JWH
          Koroisau
          SST
          Cordner
          Crichton
          Yeo

          Fisher Harris
          Liu
          Kikau
          SBW

Again, it just shows our strength. We're a gun football team and one bad game doesn't change that.

I'm reminded of this song heading into the game...

Well Fittler is on the Penrith band wagon......

Suddenly we lose one game and we are gone according to our former Captain.

Why is it that our former Captains cannot be happy or support their former club???

They certainly deserve to be favourites. I can't see us doing a number on them, and we will have to be very close to our best to get a win.
Knights should have win that game too - came back as well - i think Bradman Best cost them the win - earlier on he passed when he should have run and would have scored and the one near the end in extra time he ran instead of pass to an unmarked winger costing a try and the win- yeh early days then and Parra did beat them but part from that no team looked like beating them - apart from the Chooks in round 1 - 12 nil up- Penrith wont beat themselves and the Chooks need to bring their A Grade game or close enough to it tomorrow.

Interesting pressor with Robbo - not confirming who will start as hooker so there could be a change - have to see which 2 players are dropped later today - i think you can assume Poasa and Matty Iku will be the ones leaving Butch an Maubs as 18 and 19th players possible one coming into the 17?

I reckon we're definitely underdogs. The Riff should win easily with their amazing Roster and Cleary's magical boots.

Just happy our humble team has made it to the finals after being written off by all the NRL experts.

Freddy is a Penrith boy who was bought by the Chooks because of Superleague & Gus, he will always hold the Panthers close to his heart & good on him. The same thing has happened this year with Penrith that happened when Freddy came through, a lot of the players come from the area & they have had success, it’s a Rugby League heartland & let’s face it there isnt much else happening out there, most people out in the Penrith area are battlers so when their footy team is firing it brings them all together.
If the Roosters weren’t playing Penrith tomorrow night I would be going for them.

i wouldn't read too much into that. for a while now he's had a policy of not confirming the 17 until he has to.

Last year it took the most remarkable defensive effort I have ever witnessed to the premiership. Not just once in the grand final, but also in the preliminary final. The point I want to make is the outcome of those games were in our control. Even when the ref tried to take that control away from us by binning Cronk we still had enough energy and focus to maintain that control.

My concern this year has been with the new 6-again rule which imo was clearly designed to take that control away from us (and the Storm). The alarming fact to come out of last week was not the scoreline, it was the ref handing so much possession to Souths that we ran out of energy and lost control.

For us to win the premiership our forwards need to dominate for the full 80 minutes as they did in the 2018 gf. Don't give the refs any chance of deciding the game with lopsided possession.

                            I agree with JT.

The boys are ready for a big game performance that is likely to shock the nrl and then the idiots in the media will be backslapping us again,

Yeah they have been for a while now.

In saying that we've given them our fair share of hidings too.

I would say Paddington, Redfern and the inner city of Sydney is rugby league heartland.
