Being a battler is irrelevant. It's where rugby league in Sydney was created.

      Penrith didn't exist.

On another note, does anyone see Aubo starting at dummy half?

Yes those area were where Rugby League was created but they aren’t Rugby League heartlands.
Rugby League is the working class game & that’s why the Roosters area doesn’t have many junior clubs.

Yes I was thinking the same thing but Robbo hinted in his presser that Aubbo who he was asked about specifically understood like the other 20 players that the team is above any individual.

to counter the early onslaught? but it would hamper our go forward when we've got the ball.

last time jake was out we started with freddy and didn't have a back up dh on the bench. lachie wasn't fit then so things are diff but it's possible aubo or butch come into the 17.

Even when the ref tried to take that control away from us by binning Cronk we still had enough energy and focus to maintain that control.

My concern this year has been with the new 6-again rule which imo was clearly designed to take that control away from us (and the Storm). The alarming fact to come out of last week was not the scoreline, it was the ref handing so much possession to Souths that we ran out of energy and lost control.

For us to win the premiership our forwards need to dominate for the full 80 minutes as they did in the 2018 gf. Don't give the refs any chance of deciding the game with lopsided possession.
Average of one try per game over the last two finals series. Unheard of.

Let's make that three finals series.

Why is it that our former Captains cannot be happy or support their former club???
Penrith is also his former club, & he played for them first.

That's the key , when our defence is on song we have repelled the best teams in the comp over the last two premiership winning seasons.
We are the champs and until someone knocks us off our perch we are the team to beat.
I reckon Robbo will have our defence dialled in this week.

My only concern with our defence is the tries we have let in off kicks the last few weeks.
We seem to have problems defending grubbers and even chips.
Something Cleary no doubt will try to exploit.

Not sure our defence has the same steel this year. Time will tell.

Can't see it. Lussick's service from dummy half has been excellent.
