Agree. El Masri was definitely a try.

But I agree with earlier poster who said there's been worse than Mini's no try that's been allowed.

Still we didn't deserve to win that game.

El Masri was on the ground, tackled, stopped moving. Totally still. The tackler released him. Then he reached over and grounded the ball. NO TRY since 1908.

Not sure we can claim league is a sport where people pretend not to be hurt anymore. Sure there are plenty of occasions in league where it’s true but both sports now diving is rife where there is the opportunity for a penalty unfortunately 13

Neither side did, it's arguably one of the poorest grand finals ever played - 31 errors, 11 penalties.....the only attacking moment of brilliance I recall in the entire match was Toops bust for Mini's length of the field try. The Dogs were poor, we were just poorer....really dud match.
