See this so where you lose me a wee bit.

At this point in time we have a very detailed report with a bloody load of specificity. That has to count for something.

On the other, we have SKD (and that debacle) as a reminder of the two-to-tango-ers (and I include your point about the media in here).

I think your talk of affidavits is unnecessarily reductive, and see the journalists’ work as the basis for a strong case.

          • That a doctor did what he was alleged to have done is not fact, it's allegation. It could be that, in the heat and tumult of the situation, he filled out the script mistakenly or Ol' Mitch, that devious, cunning old nark, may have wanted the valium for himself. Either that or he was a couple of plays ahead of the rest of them thinking of his dubious ATO claim.
I like your train of thought, albeit some of it is a stretch, it is plausible answers to some of the actions, well thought out. Ol Mitch - I reckon he could get his meds pretty easy in the Highlands and as soon as he knew the script was in a false name, he knew he was on a winner at getting Sammy boy out of his life and ruining his reputation. That's a Wonka ticket right there. Hmmm, why wait until now to have all this info released. they could have dropped it when he was first charged with the AVO, the cynic in me thinks divorce negotiations and access to the kids and besmirching his name. Those Dr's could be in a lot of trouble, that may be the way the NRL get to lol@souffs

**** yes. I would 100% do the same if my girls had a deadbeat husband.

This has been brewing for quite a while with snippets of this news over the past year or so, so I wouldn't mind betting there's quite an element of truth in what is coming out and if he has indeed stood down from Fox, he is pretty much in damage control which could be seen as a an admission of guilt.
Correct SKDs got it so bad even the Premier was publicly trying to lynch him..

                • I don't say that any counter argument that I have posed is correct. Truth is determined by a court if it comes to that.

And Salvo the journalists "work" is generous, News Corp hacks do not have a glorious record by any stretch, ask Geoffrey Rush. As I said the article is a poorly written re jig of Court docs - everything in it is reported by a plaintiff. That's not Julie Burgess or anyone else speaking, it is Phoebe or, more probably, the ol' liar and we know that he's a liar because he misrepresented the Super Profits tax which would have benefited all of us and not just Gina and the rest of the foreign mob who dynamite ancient cultural artifacts.

The nub of the argument is who is saying these things, why might they be saying them and are they reliable? Whether or not people have daughters is not at all relevant unless you are saying, in a general way, that you wouldn't want your daughter in a violent relationship and that's, pretty much, a given.

Maybe one lesson is that working class boys shouldn't get involved with bourgeois women. The classes don't mix - they hate us. See my Anzac piece on the behaviour of the officer class on the Burma Railway.

Oh yeah, that'd be right - surveys indicate that 85% have no interest whatsoever in politics. Should be the "sheeple" of Australia..

Also how Inglis and Sutton avoided Sam's dick pics scandal is mind-blowing.

Kick the farkers out of the comp again. Should of never allowed this shit club to be reinstated. Glory glory ... Glory hole of a club.

Hah fair enough mate. Your perspective on this sure is plausible.

The truth will get out, sooner or later.

It does sound like that, I agree, but I think it’s not what he’s doing.

Paddo’s claim is that there was no research or journalistic expose here at all, and instead a rough summary of the affidavit was hacked by The Australian team.
