All weak ass teams including a Parra that has been lost since we beat them in round whatever. Of course our experience means nothing if last weeks game wasn't a tactical move by Trent.
I honestly can’t see us getting up after the south’s match. We had so many star players some returning from a rest that just couldn’t keep up with the pace. The faster fitter youth are just too much for us now.

I'm nervous as hell about tonight though.

      Go EASTS !!
Yep Angus is a must to start. Rough up Kikau.

It’s a barmy night here in Penrith. I am first one here. Definite advantages with a car park right outside the stadium.

I’m currently in the line to get into Panthers. The first is a few minutes away. Driving so won’t be too many.

no confidence at all tonight, but hoping for an easts win, hoping we can pull something out. head says Panthers by 10 , heart trying to tell head otherwise. no repeats of last week or I'll switch off and turn to Islam.

                as always go the chooks.
                easts to win.

Solid and impenetrable defence is what we need to concentrate on delivering. Doing this will frustrate the Panthers endlessly, forcing them to make errors. They are basically used to winning this season, and the inability to freely score against us tonight will throw a spanner into their momentum. If we play like this and keep the score tight, I'm sure that we can get the points necessary for victory in the final quarter.

                  Go Easts!

Keen for the game tonight! Think we're going to do significantly better than in previous weeks. Souths played their best game in years, and we had our worst in years last week. Whole team was brought up short. The record for no team losing by 50 and winning the premiership is going to be shattered in a couple weeks.

I'll tell ya what... being underdogs for the first time in forever is a delightful change in dynamic for the team.

All the pressure and hype is on the untried young Panthers who have had a rails run to the finals the past few months.

Meanwhile flying down the outside are the battle hardened champions from the East. There's been no better big game team in 20 years.

As such I'm anticipating our forwards to aim up and a Keary/Teddy masterpiece. Also watch for our big, experienced outside backs to give their rookie counterparts a bath.

So fire up my brethren! Come finals time its always Easts to Win until some other contender proves otherwise as they haven't done since 2017.

We don't need to do anything special, just play our game. A great start would be an advantage, but we can also come back from 12 down if required. They are a very good young team, but if we stay calm, execute our game plan we have the class to win. I would take any win, even a golden point.

I’m confident Keary and Teddy will get us home tonight, on the back of big minutes from JWH and SST!

Love how all these so called experts are writing us off for tonight, we will prove a point after last week.

                              Go Easts
