think we defended poorly but surely the Liam Martin "knock back" went forward into his leg and Keary knocked that back. both led to tries. The scoreboard is worse than it should be.
However, our defensive attitude has looked very poor at times.

My exact thoughts. IMO Crichton clearly passed forward as well, allowing him to pass 'behind' the defender, to Cleary.

But... nobody was there to make the tackle! You can argue over spilled milk but nobody was there to make the tackle! We made it way too easy for them.

What we've achieved over the past couple of years has been absolutely incredible.

We could have lost last year's GF; but an incredible team with the hearts of ****ing lions poured 100+ years of RWB soul into a second half performance that will live forever in our memories.

Back to back in the world's toughest sporting competition.

After that euphoric GF win I had a sense that we gave everything we had and like a great champion boxer retaining his title, it'd be felt for a year or two to come.

But I was ok with that. Because the b2b will live forever regardless of what happens from here on in in 2020.

To quote Bondi Boy the Panthers are younger, stronger and faster. We were on top until Teddy threw that silly cut out to bmoz and he got bundled into touch. Flanagan has crapped himself under pressure and his defence isn't good enough and never will be.

Our forwards are better than theirs. They are soft but we get none of the 6 agains or just something near 10m. An even contest and and it would be much closer.
