Anywhere between 11th-9th will do me. Don't think we are quite ready for the finals, and I don't want to be a team that is guaranteed to be knocked out in the first week.

If we play any Finals footy this year it will be very valuable for all the young guys to get a taste of it for 2013, I still hope to make the 8, 6th will do me & then onward to the GF, how good would it be to win one before SBW arrives!

We need a good 1,6 and 7 and some penetration in the backs. Our forwards are potentally good but without a decent backline we are doomed. I'd say we'll finish 10th, anything above that is a bonus.

I'd rather finish 8 and make the finals than not.

I want us to challenge rather than be also rans. To go into the finals knowing we are the easy beats is not good for this side. Big game experience is good. But you need to be doing it year after year.

                  Top 8, for sure.
If they get wiped out early in the finals, so be it. It is still part of the learning curve.
The pain felt in a finals loss carries over to the next year & they fight harder.
2013/14 are the ones that are looking the best.

We can hopefully expect a unified playing group, not a fractured one like last year. And that helps in tight matches, they play for each other and there are more chances a win.

And I reckon 6th-8th is achievable, with some luck injury wise.

Fear (OF 2013) will motivate Anasta towards a sterling performance as captain & stop gap 5/8 behind a scary pack (thanks to Fitzy)....

Moga & SKD (in his efforts to keep up with Tau Tau) to go ballistic (thanks to Elliot)

                      6TH

not making the 8 will be the death knell for Smith

I think we're top 4 or 5, specials. Fantastic forward pack - young, talented and enthusiastic.

We will crack some skulls this year, you wait and see.

                        Top 4.

9 or 10. We're still 2-3 years from challenging seriously.

I can't remember the last time we weren't "2-3 years" from challenging seriously.

I want us to be in the top 8. But only if we are a genuine chance of progressing further. I wouldn't be upset with 8th by any means, but I don't want us to be a scrape in the finals one year, not get into the finals for three years after that side.

I see no reason at all we can't make the 8. 12-13 wins gets you in (which of course means you can lose 11-12 and still get in the eight). A club in harmony and a fair run with injuries and we play finals football. I wouldn't expect us to do much in the finals though.

                                7th!
