Well if you think like that, perhaps Stuart should have taken the captaincy from Fittler mid 2004 and handed it over to Brett Finch, on the basis it was Fittler's last year!

There is no excuse for what Fittler did to Fitzy, a player who had given 150% to our club. Instead of pushing Fitzy out the door, he should have ensured he was given a contract extension and kept the captaincy for as long as he wanted it.

The halves, especially five/eighth is where we will be let down. I will be happy if we acoid the spoon.
I agree in that we have close to the worst backline in the comp. Unless Tagive and Moga make the grade we will most definitely have the slowest backline in the comp. Fortunately, we have a pretty decent forward pack but that can only take us so far.

Does Pendulum go to swingers parties?

I realistically expect top 8. Anything else is shite and it will just make me grumpy as hell n drink a shit load of beer to drown my sorrows as opposed to drinking a shit load of beer in celebration. I really prefer the latter.

From memory didn't Freddo take the C from Fitzy in 08??? Late in the season, the same season we made the top 4. Also from what I've been told Bwaiff was as shocked by the decision as Fitzy was. It sure derailed a promising year, I think we won 2 of our last 7.

And for Fred, are you forgetting that game in 09 when coach Freddo put Bwaiff at FB and Mini at 5/8??? That means there were even less games of Bwaiff playing with Pearce in the 1/2s.

          You know it makes sense.

Freddy really did lose the plot, didn't he?
Or maybe he never had a copy of it?

I am really excited about this season. Our young pack will slaughter others with enthusiasm and fitness. Our backline will benefit and Moga will be top try scorer. Expect a big one from Braith. He has a point to prove and he is playing for a contract. Pearce will enjoy getting away from Carney's influence and prove why he is the origin halfback. And Mini will repay the faith with vintage form. Top 4 for sure. Possible top 2 with some injury luck. Get your money on our boys.

Am looking forward to seeing Moga play and to see our youngsters develop.

                      Heres to a good 2012
Who knows. It could be premiers which i just can't see or it could be spooners which i just cant see.

                      Realistically they will finish between 4th & 12th.................................. I know it's a crap predicament

This is a big triple of ifs.

If Anasta gets a season ending injury in round one.
If Daniel Mortimer teams up with Pearce and fires
If Moga is the second coming of Mal Meninga

                        Then we have a shot.

                        No other way.

No 'ifs" about it. Get behind our boys. You only have to look at how they performed after the trouble makers went last season. The whole team bonded and that will carry them through this season. I can't wait.

Using Finch as the example, shows that you have missed the point. If you have a marquee playmaker, not really leading the way for the team, doesnt it make sense to give the player the captaincy, showing him that he is the leader of the team? I would think that player would step up and have even more of a go because of the C next to his name. Because it Braith, he has already shown the best he has.

A player like Fitzy is a great team man, I wouldn't think that taking the captaincy away from him is going to affect his role.

                                As stated. I don't agree, I understand.
