Commentary for tonight's game - 9 or Foxsports?

For those that will be watching the game on TV, will you be tuning in to the 9 coverage or Foxsports/Kayo?

I have generally preferred the latter but what bugs me is that Andrew Voss seems to be getting the big matches in last few seasons over Warren Smith, and I reckon he will be calling tonight's game....after his performance last week (I hope I wasn't the only one that felt that), I don't think I can stand him if he dishes similar bias if he calls the match tonight. The performance and result is what matters, but it does take away from the enjoyment when a clown is subjective when calling the match.

I’ll be at the game but if at home I’d watch Fox cause they are the best of a bad bunch.

Warren is a fossil who can’t pronounce players names and should have retired a decade ago. Gus just repeats himself too much and has an agenda behind every comment and is too bias towards the team he has backed. Johns and Fittler are as dumb as bat shit.

Warren Smith and Brandy the best combo but I notice Brandy listed in the post-match and Ennis is not. That probably means Vossy and making my ears bleed Ennis.

I hate the way Vossy is bringing his liking of everything weird into the call. Ie he nearly wet himself last week with the double falcon. Just call the game.

He definitely appears to have taken over from Warren Smith as the principal caller.

I hope it’s Dan Ginanne and when Teddy scores to make it 18 points in our favour with 10 to go he says ‘Goodbye’ like he does on big moments.

Brandy shouldn’t even be calling the game due to his allegiance to the Panthers. He is the Deputy Chairman of the Panthers board of directors.

Why anyone would want to listen to his dribble is beyond me?

Only watch 9 when origin is on because there is no other choice.

I will watch Fox but if Ennis is on I may be swayed over to the other mob. The guy is on top of the list of FDC commentators now and it is a very hard list to top.

Silly me made plans weeks ago for tonight forgetting this year was different and finals were starting instead of finished! So I'll be limited to checking the scores but if I get to watch any it will definitely be on Fox. I had to suffer Fittler, Gould, Johns and co for the Vermin/Dogs match a few weeks ago as on a few days holiday and no Foxtel and they were so insufferable I turned the TV off at half time even though the Vermin were getting beaten. The coverage was absolutely putrid! Foxtel well worth the money I spend on it each month to avoid amateur hour on 9. Not to mention the ads which completely disrupt the flow of the game.

Thanks everyone for your replies. I haven't tuned into Channel 9 commentary (except for Origin which 9 has exclusivity) and other GFs for the last few years, hence I was curious if it might be worth tuning into 9 if Andrew Voss is calling the game (most likely), I'm guessing not then. Gus can be very annoying and seems to think he is 100% right with everything he says, not so sure about this season, but when I saw some of the highlights of the finals series last year, he was clearly bias towards us with our matches.

I'm not happy Voss has taken over Warren Smith as the main caller for Fox, I find he gets excited and carried away too easily. Anyway, you guys summed it up best in saying Fox is the better of the two crap options.
