Win or loss this team deserves a big thank you from our fans on Friday in our last home game for the year. They have been a magnificent football team and done something not done in the game for nearly three decades.

Depending how much you place in this and NRL360 - they said tonight that SBW’s neck was so bad on Friday he wasn’t at the game. Further, and again if you believe this Robbo called Uncle Nick and asked him what he should do with SBW. Uncle Nick supposedly said do what you need to do to win. Unsure how those guys would know about Nick calling Trent.

Wow Wow Wow!. Just so much to think about. You guys are so shrewd, insightful and exciting and know the game inside out. Such incredible words penned so succinctly just paints the scene/s so tremendously. I think every single one of you would make fantastic coaches. Trent has so much to learn especially from my favourite expert Thirteen. You are beyond your years young man, and if I were a player, which I am not, I would swim through a slurry of rotten carp just to be close to you and sit at your beautiful feet. And Hawkeye is so funny and his wit just jumps off the page and leaves me feeling happy and joyful.
I feel incredibly blessed to be surrounded by Rooster aficionados who know what it takes to win finals. The wisdom spoken by Dice is exemplary and I am staggered as how this incredible man has become a master tacticians almost overnight.
But yes Thirteen. Without you, where would our wonderful club be today. Who would have thought that a young boy would grow up to me a man who entertains us so readily..a man you knows men like Dave Brown, Arthur Beetson, Bill Mullins, Brad Fittler, Simon Bonneti, Craig Salvatore better than they know or knew themself.
So thanks to all of you..including Brain but a BIG thank you to you Thirteen.

Freindy will play and tighten up our middle no end. Thank goodness he's back.
SBW will come off the bench
The viking crap will be played at the start of the game.
The guys in our side that have been quiet over the last couple of weeks will step up.
The chant of "Easts" "Easts" and the beat of the drum will be heard over and over again, almost non stop..
We will beat the Raiders easily.

Lots of inconsistencies with penalties, players put on report and charges over the weekend. I still can't believe Bateman didn't get sin binned at the time of his trip, which could've swung the momentum, what made it worse was that he didn't even get charged. JWH did a trip, innocuous I felt, on Roberts in the Souths game last year and got rubbed out of the Prelim. I think that's a joke. Cam Smith dumped Brown on his head, was just called a penalty by Klein last night, I was thinking why the heck wasn't that on report? Then I realised, it's Cam Smith, but the NRL still charged him today, unfortunately he won't miss the prelim.



I'll offer an explanation for this.
Penrith, Raiders and Souths are the NRL's pet teams, so it is unlikely that any of their players will be suspended for any offence, short of killing one of the opposition players.
Same rule applies to the NRL pin-up boys. These are the designated icons of the game, and can do no wrong. They are in the hearts of the NRL, and the respective supporters of their teams. Names that come to mind in this category are Billy Slater, Cameron Smith, and Sam Burgess.
