Not sure about being favourites - similar games all 4 in the finals except the Chooks came back after conceding plenty of points in a block although according to Gould is was Penrith's naivety that enabled the Chooks to come back. Defence is the key and if the players still have the desire and effort in them to fight for the win - need big games from all and especially those that have been down on form the past few weeks

Hey Trew me ol' mucka. Cheers mate.
Looking through the team, could only be stronger if the Inflictor was there and Cronk making a comeback.
Even at 80% if we play "the Roosters way" we win by plenty. Keary set to have a "go off like a catherine wheel" game and win MOM.
SCG a big bonus.

If it’s close, they will surely go out of their way to assist them avenge last seasons result where the Raiders fans still honestly believe they were robbed.

The Raiders game is very winnable.
After last week however, i am skeptical that we can take it out this year. It's nothing to do with the coaching or the talent at our disposal.
IMO we've got enough blokes in our pack carrying injury that it's a liability. Nothing wrong with their effort at all, they just don't look like they've got quite enough gas, and in the finals - especially when you are the reigning champs - there is a bees dicks margin for error.
We've got 3 games to win in order to take it out.
My heart says we'll win the premiership.
My head says we'll beat the Raiders, then lose convincingly to the Storm in the prelim.
Penrith v Storm GF for mine.

anyone who thinks our last 2 performances means we can't win it underestimate jake's importance to the team. if jake's there v souths no way we let in 60 and if he's there last week i don't think they score 5 unanswered tries.
but, whatever - it's up to us to show em what we've got v canberra.
que sera, sera,
whatever will be, will be
we're off to the scg!
que sera, sera
