I still count 14 and 15 as bombing out. If you don't give yourself a chance to win the Grand Final by at least being in it, it's a failed season imo.

    Chook.

In 2015, we were never going to do anything without JWH and Pearce. You need a bit of luck with injuries to win a premiership.

        What a stupid comment.

Yep it's like saying Cam Smith has one of the worst records in finals footy.

He's got what, 2 from 17 or something ridiculously bad like that. One of which was a 40-0... ***40-0*** loss despite systematically cheating the salary cap during that season.

And yet the Drizz are still a force. The only stat that matters is who scores more points on the day (they don't even need to play better, they've just gotta win)! The past two weeks have been shyte, so I'm hoping we come good this week.

I think you are being harsh on Chook. We did shoot ourselves in the foot in 2014 getting two players suspended in the final round chasing the minor premiership. There are a few experts that believe Storm have also shot themselves in the foot a few times chasing the minor premiership.

Robbo has adapted since then and not afraid to risk games by resting players if it is in the best interests of our finals chances. I do wonder though whether he got it right last week by resting Friend.

bs. If it was a sudden death or grand final game he plays.

maybe - I don’t know if that’s true and nor do you. Did he pass concussion protocols? Regardless he had a huge head knock the week before and we are obviously very careful as a club with these. He had an injury and we deemed it not safe to play. It’s not rested.

Dont know but early in the week...Robbo said he wasnt laying down because he was concussed but because his cheek was hurting like hell ..he passed to go back on and passed the tests at training ...me seems to think his cheek is the problem ...and the fact Robbo has full confidence in his team and will not really risk a player etc.

This year reminds me a bit of 1976 - coming off b2b gf wins, lots of injuries, a whiff of tiredness after being up for a long time.

But I think we might sneak past Canberra and live to fight another week.

It's been a very long and hard 3 years for everyone, ...officials, staff, coach, players,...being up for every match...
                        especially this season.
They all deserve our praise and thanks for delivering us fans two titles and a top 4
                        chance at a threepeat.
If we don't beat the Raiders tonite, then so be it...we should be cheering the coach and players as loud as we can.
The players should do a lap of honour so the fans can thank them for their efforts.

Even if we lose, I’m bloody proud of these guys. What they’ve done for the last 3 years has been brilliant to say the least, you can see they’re buggered. We’ve given the 3 peat a red hot go.

they're tackling our players around the neck and head....no penalties.
they've been off side all night.

Sorry to say, but our team is too small.
No one then could tackle their big strong player.

JWH hasn't helped by giving away penalties.

They are blocking, breaking all the rules, with impunity.

Think our boys are just worn out from 3 years of hard work.

                              More injuries.
                              Ridiculous.

THEY run 3 players together in attack, passing the ball between them with short sharp passes until they get thru a gap.

                              We do not.

One of their players should be on the Olympic diving team.
