Ashley Klein appointed for Friday's semi

I'm glad commonsense prevailed at NRL HQ and they didn't appoint Ben Cummins as the ref for this match, as the media will be all over it in the lead up to the game.

What do you reckon with Klein as the ref? At least he won't win man of the match like Sutton did last week.

Not a fan of Ashley Klown but he’s better than Cummins and Sutton so no complaints. Would rather have Chechin though.

Not a fan. Has had some shockers with us, and completely robbed us in a semi against Penrith at the SFS a few years back after we were 20 something up. Called a double movement where everyone in the stands could see wasn't anywhere near it and then proceeded to penalise us out of the game.

it's a rare team that thinks the ref is on their side. probably panthers have a story where klein robbed them. if those figures are right we win more under him than we do normally so hard to say he's biased v us.

Im pretty sure that was Cummings not Klein.

The way Robbo is all about the good of the game, he would ref it as fairly as possible and not do us any favours.
