Is it a coincidence this story comes out a week after the Burgess and Souths problems? If the NRL are 'fair dinkum' then after all of this mess comes out, they should be sanctioning Souths pretty hard since Greenberg is no longer there to sweep things under the carpet for them. If things are true that Joseph is a very level headed kid and comes from a good honest family, then after hearing of all of souths behavioural problems with their players, and now club officials over the last 2 years plus how will the NRL penalise Souths, you'd be having second thoughts of having your childs future in the hands of an institutions that is in the headlines for the wrong reasons more often than not. When you compare that with the Roosters where the pursuit of success has been our headlines for a few seasons and any bad behaviour quickly dealt with in a transparent manner, and players welfare and happiness is paramount, as a parent you'd be weighing up between the two clubs where your child will be successful as a player and a person. If Joseph was money hungry, he would have signed for souths already being that he is there now, or worst the bulldogs because they'll throw money at anyone without a second thought, but he has not committed to souths yet because he obviously isn't comfortable with what's been going on. The other thing is we have SBW and he's always been one of our clubs PR reps...Sonny being a champion in both codes and playing for the iconic All Blacks, said it a long time ago that who knows if he is working in the background?
