Do you actually think theres all this fuss about him & all he can play is winger wow,,,,,trust me this kids is a cross of Folau & SBW in one, can play anywhere on the field and i know this because im very close to someone whos played 1st grade with Souths afew years back and still part of their system and tells me when he trains with the 1st graders he is unstoppable in defense and attack,,very very very special also he is actually a very smart good respectable kid but has had bad advice which hopefully he can fix up. Suuali started playing against 18 year olds when he was FOURTEEN, and has been a star from the start. The NRL have stated that they would lower the starting age to let this kid play next year. I think he turn 18 in July2021. He is 6 foot 4 and weighs over 100kgs, he has speed plus strength and could play wing, centre or second row right now. If we can secure this kid on OUR terms then I would be absolutely wrapt. I have heard about his demands to have an option in his favour to pull out of any contract he signs at any time and ofcourse that is ridiculous, and will not be acceptable to our club. But if he wants to play league I would love it to be with us.

I’d have no problem if we sign him if management and coach think he fits into our club, but IF his demands are true , and the money bandied around, then in MY opinion he would be a risky signing, I reiterate that it’s MY opinion and will happily accept whatever the club and coach decide. No surprise that the manager seems to be doing his best to get his man the highest contract. Easts are way past the days when signing one player could make or break the club.
