I would love it if we signed him.

He is super talented, no question, but I am not sure we want to put ourselves in a similar situation to what we went through with Latrell. No player is bigger than the club and worth that kind of hassle IMHO.
      MRR or Rabid

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

Don't blame the kid for Latrell's ingratitude and self worship. If our management choose to make him and offer and he accepts it then I will be delighted. This kid's highlight reel from the age of 15 makes Latrell look like a 12 year old.

SOUTHS PLAN TO FOIL CHOOKS’ CHASE OF TEEN STAR

Teen sensation Joseph Suaali is hot property and perhaps the biggest contract talking point in Australian sport right now.

The South Sydney prodigy is the subject of an intense tug-o-war between rugby league and rugby union, and specifically a number of clubs on both sides of the sporting divide.

The latest rumours have him linked to the Roosters and Wests Tigers.

Channel 9 journalist Danny Weidler says the Rabbitohs are all but resigned to losing the young talent... but they won’t let him be snatched up by their biggest rival.

“Souths are saying they really don’t think he’s going to be at their club,” Weidler told Big Sports Breakfast radio.

“They are prepared to release him in the right way. They would be most comfortable if he was in rugby union so he’s not at a rival club.

“They are firm in their view there is no way the Roosters will be getting him... that will be part of any sort of release.”

I am sure Souffs will find out that they have no legal right to prevent Suuali from going where ever he wants. Including the Roosters. Or they can keep paying him when he doesn't want to be there. Dumb Carnts.

Meanwhile we released Latrine to them.

We are a class above as an organisation.

              Go Penrith.

                Yep, the Roosters are scum.

Geez they are a sour bunch aren't they?

                  The paranoia is laughable.

isn’t he still signed with them for next year? he hasn’t been given approval to play in the NRL before he is 18, so we can just sign him for 2022 When he can play and there is no release necessary.

Robbo seemed pretty confident Hall's going home now (like... now) and will try to link up with the Wolfpack.

Was (oddly) less certain about Sonny. As in, I got the feeling SBW's not a 100% certainty to go back to thr Wolfpack. Dunno what the visa situation is but my mind tells me there's no certainty the Wolfpack will reform for 2021 or that he'll have a UK visa.

My last memory of the semi-final (before all hope faded away) was SBW grabbing the ball on the right-hand side of the field and throwing a lovely pass ~15-20m to the left (I know he's a pro but that's HARD!) to setup a run where Keary almost bagged us some lollies. He looked really brave out there... guessing he's gone for good now but IMO he's still got it!

I don't think SBW wants to play on though. He sounded like he would hang up the boots in his post game presser

absolutely they do, if he is contracted with them for next year they can just not release him

If nothing but for the rugby league world to go into meltdown, please let it happen.

there are two prelim finals on this weekend, and all people are still talking about is the roosters.
