how do these guys have jobs.

at least we wont almost drive him to suicide like the raiders fans did to cummins last year
Yeh going to the bunker to check if “Keary grounded the ball” is ridiculous. It’s a disgraceful bending of the rules from Klein.

So we tried to win a semi with no props.
Lack of genuine props on the night was only 1 of about 20 issues we faced tonight.

        • Better to bow out tonite than lose a Grand Final.
Hardly any players of ours not limping or half concussed.
All praise to our coach and players for the glory of b2b premierships.
Two actual premierships in a row.
          It's almost unbelievable.

          • That poor start cost them in the end down 16-0 - could well have won it some half chances and a few loose passes when in good attacking and field positions. - rest up the Chooks not in SOO squads- I think for NSW - Cords/Teddy /Toops and Keary and for QLD- Collins and possibly Friend to be added to those squads.

Robbo and his Coaching team will need to do a review of the season and what changes in playing style - attack and defence and pre-season and during the season training is needed with the current rules and proposed rule changes - Also need to develop the current squad of players further in certain aspects of their own game and as a team including those on the fringe of the NRL so certain players can be spelled when required - Need a second tier comp for sure next year

            • It’s been an absolute honour supporting this great team over the past few years. It was great to see Aubo get the respect he so dearly deserves leaving the field for the last time tonight. So proud of the team and the entire Roosters organisation.

              • SBW saved his best for last. He was near our best player. He won back control of the ruck when he came on, although it did coincide with pappa going off. Still he showed his class tonight

Canberra have won their grand final, they couldn't move that final 15. Melbourne with a week off will score at least 30 next week.

I don’t know who to back now. So many sides I don’t like left. I’ll have to consider that when I’m not so emotional.

                    Cheers everyone.
                    Agree mate.

My order of preference is Parra, Melbourne, Panthers, Raiders, Vermin.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

                    • Pulling out a card to play from my back pocket: '2020 wasn't a real premiership season because of the SARS Cov-2 thing, the shortened season, and the societal acceptance of the return of the mullet'. Win some... lose some.

                        • I felt like this in 1976 when Canterbury knocked us out in the elimination semi. I must say a very strange ending to the year. That disgraceful display against souffs completely ruined our year, there was no coming back from that. I'm sure Robinson has learnt some hard lessons but none more than that night. I don't care who wins the comp as long as it isn't that arsehole of a club in Redfern.

                          • I can't fault the effort from the guys. Courageous effort. Just the execution was not quite good enough on the night. Oh well I guess the run had to come to an end sometime. It was great to be the first team to go back to back in the NRL era.

                            • Only one team can be Premiers.

Only one of Souths, Parra, Panthers. Storm, Raiders.
The others will miss out, same as us.
Hope Storm win...so it's not a Syd team or the Raiders.
                              Panthers must be favourite.

Same here though Parra has to climb Everest to win it and I don’t think they could climb out of bed the way they’ve been playing.
