Tonight is about silencing the doubters and the whingers - those idiots who claim our premiership is tainted.

It’s nothing about that mate - two different squads over 12 months later. We won last year - no matter what happens this game, we still won last year.
If we smash them it won’t stop them being bitter - if they beat us it won’t change a thing about last year.

this is about this year - it’s about staying in the hunt for a historic three peat. Yeah it will feel good to win and stick the knife of disappointment further into them and twist a bit more I have to admit.

it’s going to be a really tough game. Wighton is a real competitor - probably as good as any we have seen recently - he has that ability to drag his side along with him all by himself. You won’t stop him - we have to limit him. We do that well then we are clearly up for the fight because it’s really hard to do. And if we do it well we will win a tough game.

personally I’m really looking forward to it - I think it’s going to be the best game of the finals - and I don’t know who wins.

Tonight will be a huge test of our hunger, determination, attitude and preparedness to be amongst the great teams in history. This will be a monumental battle, but I think (and mainly hope) that we can respond and prove most wrong.

This is how I see it. We have the team to win it. But because of injuries and resting players, team rhythm and flow has constantly been disrupted from all the chopping and changing resulting in poor form and losses. To get it back takes time. We were still way out of whack against Penrith and the raiders are a much better side. Because of team disruptions and injuries I’m not confident in our chances although I won’t write us off completely.

Chooks have to play 80 minutes been an issue all year in and out of games when momentum swung - can't afford to let that happen tonight

I just hope we don't have a small lapse where mediocre players run through the middle of us then get their swag up over a heap of gratuitous tried. It shyts me to tears when we let them do that.

Also, I'll be angry if Papalii's given a wide hole to roll through at 2km/h and score. Always happens when we lose!!! No offence to the guy but we're a bunch of deadbeats if we make the fattest guy in their team look like he's winning a race in slo-mo, Chariots of Fire style.

In a perfect world maybe, and yes I agree it would be great to see. But way too many wankers on here who love bagging the team for it to happen. I understand it will be disappointing if we lose, but the way some carry on after a loss is absolutely disgusting. I mean seriously does anyone think there is any player on our team who doesn't give 100% ? Tonight I am confident that we can win, and win well but we will have to wait and find out.
Maybe the dream is over. Maybe they have been UP for too long and have just lost the desire. Maybe many of them are carrying injuries which prevent them performing to their best. But whatever happens, they have given us 3 years of pride and effort and glory.
Winning 3 in a row is a massive ask, especially losing Rads, Sammy and Billy so early in the season. It's been a great ride and i don't think it's over, but if it is, don't be so quick to want to rubbish your team, I am sure they are giving their best.
