So proud of the boys they went down swinging without any help from Klein as expected. Thought Sonny Bill changed the game when he gave us some width in attack. Joey Manu came into his own with a bit of space, so once again a big up yours to you people who keep bagging him.

JWH was penalised for a fly swat but not even a second thought about CNK around the neck one - Keary was marginally offside - if not Chooks would have scored and won the game i have no doubt about it - apart from when Raiders were 16 - 0 up the Chooks were the better side from that point on but just didn't capitalise on the field position and opportunities created - some poor passes and play when in good attacking and field position.

Defence needs to be worked on with the current and proposed rule changes and for individual players and as a team - the attack needs work as well- need both sides(left and right0 as dangerous as each other in attack-Manu showed how dangerous he is with the ball tonight. Anyway rest up those Chooks not in SOO squads

Valiant effort at the back end of the game by us. I obviously wish it ended differently but what can you do. Just too many errors, defensive lapses, missed opportunities and a lack of applying pressure. The one takeaway I had from this game is that we really need to start becoming a more disciplined team, the new six again rule and the faster pace of the game now really favours those disciplined teams. 2018-19 when defending we slowed the ruck down which really helped us repel opposition pressure but with these new rules it’s a lot harder to do that. Overall I’m immensely proud of what we achieved, we’ll be back better than ever next year.
