Stupid comments on here, always deathriding our players, singling one out for criticism when things don't go our way.
The whole team didn't show peak performance at this time of year- its why we got bundled out in straight sets.
Sure, Jarred didn't perform at the level this season , that he did in 2018 and 2019 - could be that he was carrying an injury.
Give him the benefit of the doubt. The Jarred I know will not only play tough, he will also throw his body at an opposition player who seems certain to score near our tryline, and stop that certain try.
Only 2 others in our team that do this- Teddy and Rads.
Give him the off-season to recover, and see how he comes back during the whole of 2021.
Then make an informed judgement, and not some half- assed notion, clutching at straws.

He just signed for another 3 years, so get used to it goose. Obviously been carrying an injury that would keep a goose like you in bed for a month.

He isn't at his best at the moment, no argument, but he is still too good to just drop like a stone. I think there are mitigating circumstances behind the decline, such as possible lingering injuries.

Deserves better after what he has delivered to us over the years.

Some people believe supporting the Roosters
is a matter of life and death, I am very disappointed
with that attitude. I can assure you it is
much, much more important than that.

there used to be a sign 'on my signal unleash morley.' is that what you meant by letting him loose?

jwh will be a force for a few years yet.

            **** me.
The penalties are annoying but a by product of that aggressive style you need one or two forwards to have to be a chance in the competition. Whilst the try’s came after the penalties it wasn’t the penalties that caused the try’s it was the missed tackles. Cordner, SST and JWH all had a go at getting Papali and all fell off him - unbelievable.

the defence needs to be able to hold up against the penalties far more often than we did in the backend of this year and that was our major issue - soft try’s!

              No.
The last thing we need is to let him go.
If anything, he may need to adjust how he trains, focus more on endurance to keep up with the 6 agains.
The penalties that he gave away were soft for a finals match. When JWH clipped his chin, Jack Wighton glanced towards the ref as he was falling.
JWH can give away a few penalties (even ones that lead to tries) and still be valuable.
Remember the finals match when Latrell kicked the ball dead from the kick off - twice (2017 maybe)? Then he sets up our game winning try in the 2019 grand final.
Well JWH has got us going forward for literally a decade now.

Welcome Big Dog, what happened? Did your last village kick you out? Surely they didn't find a bigger idiot.

Cut JWH loose lol . think you need to go back on your meds .The bloke obviously has a injury . Agressive forwards are what our game is all about . The issue wasn't Jarrod it was that our defense wasn't up to standard . The bondi wall collapses but that's done and dusted . 2021 is another year

I wouldn't go as far as saying we should cut him loose. However, the signs are there that he is not the player that he was.

The club can't just carry players like Cordner, Friend, the Morris brothers and JWH just because of what they have achieved.

At some point some tough decisions will be made. Aubo made the call to retire, it was the right decision.

That's just the harsh reality of professional sport.

The Morris twins will retire next year IMO, and possibly Friend depending on how the body holds up, as for those
calling for the retirement of Cordner and JWH I can honestly say “ it ain’t happening “. They’ve been the cornerstone of our pack for the last 6-7 years and still have 2-3 good years in them.
Cordner was just too hurt this year and will come better next year. JWH didn’t seem to be running freely and whether it’s an injury or the effects of living in a bubble , hopefully next year we will see his best form come back. I would not swap him at the moment for anyone in the comp.

I think JWH has played injured all year.

You saw him regularly on the sideline getting a massage on his back.

Hopefully he will be fully fit come the start of next year and he can cut loose.

I think we had a few in the same category. Our depth was really tested this year after losing Rads and Verrills and then at one stage I think we had 11 out.

Many thought we would go into the semis as the freshest team but in the end we looked damaged. JWH, SST, Friend, Boyd, Keary, Jmoz, Bmoz and even Teddy all looked busted towards the end. Add Collins last week.

Start big Lindsay and bring JWH off the bench.

Would we go out and pay 700k for a bench prop. Doubt it. It may well be where he is best suited next year if the game has become to quick for him,but if thats the case then next year will be his last with us. Looks likely Collins will play origin this year, so his value will skyrocket accordingly especially kf he kills it.

We are paying Angus that much to play off the bench.

Dragons pay $1.2M for a bench hooker.
I think the new rules will force our hand and start JWH off the bench.
