I just can't get interested in this series esp now with Keary dropped and Boyds situation.
Anyone else a bit bleh?
I’m like you, even contemplated supporting qld , but with Teddy as captain I’m still a Blues fan , however I’d love to see Walker have a shocker and for Angus to break the line down left side, pass it to Toupo who draws Holmes and pass it inside to Tedesco just like last year grand final ( same corner) and NSW win it in last 2 minutes.

I can’t get how the ‘Immortal’ A Johns can come out saying that Keary has to be dropped and put Walker there hours after the game and a few days later backtrack saying that Keary should stay and Cleary should be taken out. So much for his opinion, but worst of all Freddy for taking Keary off. All I can think is that Freddy wants to be seen consistent like he did last year with Walker so as not to be seen bias. If this was Bennett, he would have held his nerve and changed his tactics rather than dump a 3 GF winner.
Sorry for the Roosters Blues, and NSW, but tonight I’m going for QLD ( with disgust) because I want Freddy to wear this decision but I doubt it will help Luke if NSW lose because the call to bring in Whigton is getting louder and he will succumb to that!
Freddy’s a coaching myth. Fancy picking a side with Tedesco, Wighton, Gutherson, Cleary, Keary, Walker and Cook. That’s 7 playmakers on the pitch at the same time - no wonder they went side-to-side all night.
It should have been, quite simply: Teddy at the back, Crichton and Lomax in the centres (specialist left and right), Wighton at 5/8, Cook at 9 and either Keary or Cleary at half.

Too much common sense and logic in your post, doesn’t apply to NSW selections.

And you could add Jnr Paulo there. Excellent hands, great passing and offloads. It would be funny if he was playing 5/8, the biggest half in all rugby!
