If you are blaming anyone it should be Flano who adds so much pressure onto Keary due to his lack of runs. Also Keary is so deserving of playing origin, has missed out a few years now due to injuries and what not so it would be cruel of the club to say he shouldn't play SOO. I would absolutely love to see Keary in that arena with some of our other boys as he is built for the big stage.

I don't really care what the running statistics said that Keary had a poor game - if so, why did Fittler put him in the Origin squad?
I was behind the goalposts at the southern end of the SCG vs Raiders, and believe me, Keary was causing the Raiders plenty of headaches, and he was causing plenty of confusion in their defensive line.
We were coming home with a wet sail, and Klien knew it. If he had ruled penalty on the head high tackle on Morris , we would have scored in the next set of six - I have no doubt about that.
You can look at statistics all you like - they are not the sole indicator on who has a good or bad game.

We really need to give him at least another season before we make a decision on him.
At 29 games there are some great signs. But, that's been said about so many halves - only a few become great halves.
It would be a knee jerk reaction if they didn't stick with him as after all he must be the lowest paid regular half in the comp @ 280k and had big shoes to fill- but such is life as it's easy to target and blame one player for a teams downfall. Hello Mitchell Pearce the ultimate scapegoat
