In saying that we missed Cooper, I don’t think young Flanno is the long term solution.
why?
he just doesn’t have enough of an arsenal physically.
he has a good pass and a good kick........but that has been developed since he was 5 years old.
physically he can’t cope with big blokes running at him, and he doesn’t seem quick enough or strong enough to make a break.
I will seriously be surprised if he gets there. I hope so. You can guarantee he will work his arse off
well it turns out the kid played with a busted shoulder most of the game...
One solution ...a holiday in Mexico
Two things are infinite: the universe and human stupidity; and I'm not sure about the universe
I dont care if they win the comp or come last I will always go for the Roosters.
My second favourite team are the other 15 clubs who bring me joy because I get to watch the Roosters play them.
Spoken like a true supporter, and a comment that destroys the argument that you have to have a top eight ''to keep the comp interesting" for supporters of weaker teams. True supporters follow their club and turn up regardless of whether they have a chance of making the finals or not. Week one of the finals is pointless and actually unfair to the teams that performed well through the year....ie....us, among others! A top six would be a lot better, imo!

I think we are all true supporters.
A true supporter can still be critical of his beloved team.
Name me one premiership winning team in the salary cap era that has played the finals series with half their forward pack missing? Let alone in a year where they had already lost two of the best players in the competition (Mitchell and Cronk).
You need luck with injuries and suspensions to win a premiership.
To'o lol. Panthers absolutely sh1tting themselves at missing Kikau for one game.
That's interesting....Dice replies to me quoting Tommy Smith....
Did u lose track of your 23 different split schizoid personalities or something hey Tommy? Can i speak to Patricia now, she is the most interesting hehe
So Radley is half the forward pack now? lol Sure we lost SST but the writing was already on the wall before that happened. Fact is we were almost full strength in our 2 finals games.
U said we had the best team this yr then bring past yrs players into it eg. Cronk...lol...talk about getting lost in your own line of thought.
Fact is our injuries were not significantly worse than other teams.
U implied panthers had no injures, u were wrong as per usual. To'o is a quality winger unlike has been hall so don't knock him.
BTW, we had a worse injury toll in 2002 yet won the comp that yr, so answering your own question wrongly is not a good look.
Can i speak to Tommy Smith now, or even Hedwig

Petulant. We had three recognised forwards out including the best ball playing lock in the comp. I challenge you to find me one premiership winning team that had that many forwards missing.
We had 11 players out at one stage but you still persist with To'o.
If you want a private conversation with Tommy Smith then stop posting in public threads.
its school boy footy though before you get too excited - been a lot of next big things from schoolboy footy who didnt go on with it- i recall the emery bros at Parramatta from the same school as Sterlo - both touted as the next big things - i remember watching then play under 23's and they struggled with the physical side of the game - playing against more mature players
Correction King. Sterlo went to Fairfied Pats and the Emery bros went to Ashcroft High.

The Emery brothers....geez that's taking me back to my childhood watching the schoolboys Amco Cup thingy. Yeah, what ever happened to them - I vaguely remember their long golden locks and the commentators talking about them every week.

Went to uni with their youngest brother who was always bragging about business older brother who was going out with a Penthouse Pet of the year at the time .
