What’s with the worry over cordner?? He’s not old. He’s only 28, albeit he’s copped a few concussions this season which have not helped one bit but I am backing him to return to his usual self after a much needed rest.
I get the feeling that another bad concussion or head knock for either Cords and or Keary will see them be "medically" retired
We have most our forwards resigned , but our form players and a player of the future are still not tied up.
Teddy and Angus have not inked their contracts.
Sitili is yet to be resigned.
Forget about other players from other clubs - its essential that we keep these 3.
For me it will be devastating if any of them were to leave.

I really don't care who leaves. If they don't want to be with the Roosters so be it. I would rather have them gone than stay and give less than 100%. There is a salary cap. Our managements job is to get us the best players at contracts we can fit under the cap. The clubs job is to spot talent and develop it, and we have done a pretty good job of that, but we are at a huge disadvantage compared to clubs with much larger catchment areas. We also have to create an environment where players develop a love for the club, much harder to do these days when they are bombarded with offers while they are still under contract. I don't agree with the policy of players being able to be approached when they still have 12 months to run on an existing contract.

Huge flaw in the system the allowance to negotiate from Nov 1 with a year to run on a contract.
Its an amateurish system in a so called professional sport. Moving clubs is part and parcel of the deal in being a paid athlete , in the states they walk in and move you on in a day if they trade you.
All it leads to is clubs being forced to let blokes go with a year to run on contracts here.

The flaw in the system is that it cannot be policed. Nov 1 is just a throw off. Agents, players & clubs are constantly negotiating contracts whether you are contracted or coming up for contract.
Contracts only work when all 3 parties are in agreeance.
Please tell me that Teddy is not turning into Latrell.
I couldn't endure another summer of contract negotiations as with Latrell at the end of last season.

I hope Sitili learns there are two parts On field to being a top footy player attack and defence He does not seem to fond of the latter and needs massive improvement defence wise
When you trust your television
what you get is what you got
Cause when they own the information
they can bend it all they want

Yeah, I agree with that. I was shocked to see him miss a Souths player twice in one movement and then lie on the ground and watch him run away to score during that humiliating loss a few weeks ago. I think Robbo likes Sitili but I thought then that he might re-evaluate his opinion. That's a lack of fight, right there. Granted, the whole performance that night was unlike the Roosters we know but on that sort of effort, I wouldn't be surprised if Sitili is sacrificed to keep Angus and make room for the likes of Egan Butcher and Fifita in the pack.

Doubt it. Teddy doesn’t have his whole family trying to milk every dollar out of him like Latrell’s family did to him.
I think Ted is probably focusing on SOO at the moment not his future. Being the ultimate professional that he is, I’m sure this is the case.

Resigning priorities are as follows in my opinion:
Sitili shows a lot of promise, but Teddy is arguably the games best player, with Crichton one of the games best second rowers who hasnt even hit his peak.
