The hystreria about Flanno's so called failings is nothing short of disgraceful, but not unexpected from some of the serial death riders on here. A kid in his first full season, 9 games under his belt when he came to us, replacing a legend of the game for defending premiers going for a 3peat. Which one of you wankers has ever been thrown into such a pressure cooker at such a young age. He did a bloody great job under the circumstances. I thought given his lack of experience he was really solid this year. It's very rare to have a half of his experience have the capability to influence a game so strongly.

Sure, be constructuve criticism is fine. But there is no reason to be slagging Flanno on performance this year. Anyone who is, is either a mouthbreather who knows nothing about footy or is simply a keyboard-warrior dickhead.

From what i've heard, the reasoning does have more to with culture, and NOT ability or lack thereof.

Now, whether Flanno is a wanker who is impossible to get along with, or whether the older boys were being a bit too harsh towards him - whatever it is, i'm not totally sure.

But Robbo from all accounts is a fair enough bloke and i'd trust in him to make the right call for both Flanno and the playing group.

If Flanno stays, that will be because Robbo believes its the right choice. If he is a decent bloke, i'll gladly support Flanno for another year.

This could have repercussions down the line with players thinking twice about signing with the Chooks - if they don't win the comp they could be punted - Also what does this mean for current players if they don't win next year - will a season review find them out the door?

There was no sign we would extend him beyond 2021 so no news in there, if a club wants him for 2021 and are willing to pay his entire contract then he'll be allowed to leave....until then it's officially status quo for 2021 with Kyle a contracted Rooster but free to negotiate with other clubs from November 1 for 2022, story provides no new info.

So Robbo has put it all on line - Lam or Walker - If Lam you realise SST will be the main kicker - This site will blow up if Chooks are losing games because of Goal Kicking. Does Robbo fall on his sword if neither Lam or Walker work out and they don't win the comp especially if Flanno is killing it at the Dogs as Barrett is developing him and he's banging over goals and winning them games.
