A lot on here don't rate Lam at all let alone as the starting half in 2021- If Lam starts at half SST will be the main goal kicker for instance - If this decisions turns into a disaster then Robbo has to fall on his sword and let Fitzy take over.
Robbo admitted faults in his coaching during the year which is the first time iv'e heard him say these things and maybe he is in need of a break and a new voice is needed in the dressing room /at training including new methods of playing.
2021 has a 2016 feel to it already

I'm sure Robbo knows what needs to happen. He's not blind from what I can see.

You said exactly the same things when we got rid of Pearce for Cronk.
Robbo will be sacked if we don't win a premiership.
Players will rebel.
You even said that Pearce should partner Cronk and Keary should be on the bench.
Obviously Robbo has a bit better judgement than you.
You bombarded a dozen threads with the same BS you have been spinning the last week.
Here's a reminder for you.

Lam has been with us for a few years and hasn't shown enough to be considered as our main half but he is still here, but Kyle after 18 or so games with us plus a handful for the sharks being let go? There better be a very good plan to replace Kyles points!

Flanno?
Keep him...almost leading point scorer in nrl.
Next year will be another rebuilding year.
Maybe he can be coached by Cronk.
We are just two players down from a very dominant b2b premiership team, and despite all our injury woes, we came within a bees dick of beating Panthers and still being premiership favourites this weekend. Keary/Cords/Teddy/SST all 27-28yo and having 2-3 years left at or near their best. There is absolutely zero chance that next year is a rebuilding year. If peeps understood that one point then the ruthless Flanno sacking would make a lot more sense.

Let me see if I missed something. Flannigan was signed for20/21, so in effect he was free to negotiate a contract for 2022 gon November 1 this year, is that correct?
We had also signed Walker for the same years but with plans to make him long term halfback ala Pearce was brought along, am I right so far?
The way I see it then is the club is on track with their plans, and if Flannigan doesn’t leave now he’ll still be playing for us next season whilst Walker continues his build up in lower grade. If however Flannigan departs then the Walker plan is expedited and we persevere with him for the next 3-5 years and let him develop his game next to Keary as Cleary did next to Maloney at Penrith.
Much ado about nothing.

We told him he won't be offered a contract after next year.
We have given him the option to secure something now.
He can decide to stay. But there is a chance he won't play in the GF next year.

Your anti-Robbo agenda got some traction in 2016. Now it's like trying to get the Clintons to vote for Trump.

I trust in Robbo's and the club's judgement everytime.

I feel for Flannigan and he’ll probably have a long and successful tenure at wherever he plays , but most tend to forget that he was dropped mid year ( to my and many others surprise), so there must have been an issue back then, and only when Lam was injured was he recalled to first grade.
