penrith fans believe that they will enjoy a premiership win, more than what we do, because they have done it with locals. I couldn’t give a crap if we win it with 12 bought in superstars.

As SST will be out of action for a while, can Lam or Walker kick goals? I think Keary did some kicking in his souffs days. Options looking very limited.

Todd Carney is concreting on the Gold Coast, much closer. Maloney said he loves France, and won’t be breaking his contract.

He’s no Cronk and he was disappointing in the finals but he’s got plenty of time to improve, if this is true it will be interesting. I like Lam though, if he practices kicking then he would be good to have in the 7 until Walker is ready.

I have not seen anything in Lam to suggest he is better than Kyle. When Kyle got dropped, we looked really clunky in attack with Lam. Sure, he had a limited opportunity but then you are missing out on a handy goalkicker as well. It's one of those things because you can't have superstar players in every position even though the half is pivotal. On saying all that, if it frees up some space for a young and hungry forward with a bit of mongrel in him and Lam starts '21 with Walker also getting some game time, then I wouldn't be against that either.

Its crazy time - they will be forced to pick Walker over Lam if this occurs as otherwise SST will have to do the goal kicking - been a long time since a team had a frontrower as their main goal kicker - go back to the mid/late 70's with George Grant at the Dragons- certainly not the way to go in the modern game.

Chooks needing cap space is interesting as they are paying top dollar for some players so a problem will be sufficient depth in the squad who are NRL level players.
